It’s so important to take time for yourself. I’m guilty of this myself, tutoring non stop after a full day of teaching at school just to make ends meet. But that’s where this business comes into play…

*School starts next week, I have to find a plan to get up early, take the dog to daycare, and get to work on time *School starts next week, I have to start packing lunches *School starts next week, I have to figure out how I can fit all my tutoring in, while still having time to make dinner, and exercise, and go to bed at a reasonable time. All of these thoughts and more were filling my head yesterday and the stress of school starting, routine changing, finances, etc. I was so overwhelmed and felt defeated. I had to take a moment, breathe, and tackle one thought at a time. I had to change my mindset from “panic” to “I can do this” How many of you are feeling this way about life?

This is so important to do in order to keep yourself happy. With summer winding down and school starting back up, I’ve made sure to take the time to do what I love before my schedule goes back to a crazy busy one. Even when it gets busy, it’s important to take a step back and still make time for what makes you happy and relaxed.

I have a poster with this saying that hangs up in my classroom. I reference it to the students weekly to encourage them, especially when they are feeling down about their academics. It is time that I not only reference this quote for my students but apply it in my own life too! I want to live a life where I can teach and come home to my family, not work multiple jobs after the regular school day. Today starts that journey of fulfilling this dream! 💫

This weekend was a first! I attended my first bills game. In the 28 years I have lived here, I always watched from the TV. It was a cool experience to see the Bills play in their preseason, but I definitely need to make it back for a regular season game. Go Bills!

This is my why!

My husband and I just built the foundation to our dream home. By foundation, I mean the basics of a simply Ryan Home. Simply means no cupboard handles, no back patio, no finished basement, etc. While we have a new beautiful home, we still need to make it our home with some home improvements especially since we want children in the near future. I want to be able to provide for my family without being financially strapped. Being a teacher, I don’t get paid during the summer nor do I get paid a large amount to be able to afford these renovations. I was looking for financial freedom, fun cash, etc. without having to work a second shift after the school day. This new business will help me do just that!

Hello everyone and welcome to my page!! I am so excited to embark on this new journey and begin my online business! I love teaching, but the pay isn’t wonderful and I was looking for some more financial freedom without having to pick up multiple second jobs just to make ends meet. When I came across this business, I knew I needed to jump out of my comfort zone and take a chance!
