Awake and Sober Podcast Welcome to the Awake and Sober Podcast, a show about Life in Recovery thru Christ.

At Awake and Sober podcast, we believe that recovery encompasses all aspects of life, including mental health, relationships, spirituality, and personal growth. We recognize that recovery is a lifelong journey that requires support, encouragement, and a strong foundation in faith. We believe that sharing our experience, strength, and hope can help break the stigma surrounding recovery and inspire

others to seek help and find freedom from their struggles. Our mission is to provide a safe and supportive space for individuals and their families to share their stories, connect with others, live a fulfilling life in recovery and find hope and healing through their relationship with Christ.

A mainstay of our recovery stories is being completely honest with our support teams but, most importantly, honest with ourselves. How do we do that?
The answer is simple: we journal about our experiences, ideas, and goals. If you are anything like us, that means you journal A LOT and take a bunch of notes, so don't you deserve a great writing instrument?
We think you do, and so does the sponsor of the Awake and Sober Podcast Tactile Turn. If you have yet to use a Tactile Turn pen, let's be honest: are you even writing?!?

Welcome to The Wake and Sober Podcast! A podcast about Life in Recovery through Christ!
On this weeks episode we talk about Step 10, Continued to take personal inventory, and when we were wrong promptly admitted it.
Were finally to the "Maintenance Steps" of our Step Series. In order to maintain our recovery/sobriety and continue to improve daily we must take personal inventory through out the day to hold ourselves accountable for anything we might have done that exhibits old behaviors.
This is a great practice to go over with our sponsors or counselors to make these mistakes tangible in hopes to process and move forward in a healthy and appropriate manner.

We appreciate all of your support and as always...
We hope you enjoy the show!

Welcome to The Awake and Sober Podcast, a podcast about Life in Recovery through Christ!
This week we will be continuing our 12 Step Series as we dive further into Step 3!
AA: Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God, as we understood Him.
CR: We made a decision to turn our lives and our wills over to the care of God.
You will notice some subtle differences in these steps as they pertain to their own program, but the message remains the same. We must turn ourselves over to the care of something greater than ourselves, for us it is Jesus Christ!
We will discuss what it means to truly surrender and give up our own wills in favor of what God has willed for us.
We appreciate all of your support and as always...
We hope you enjoy the show!

First off, don't forget to like, share, and subscribe to our channel on ALL podcast platforms!!!
In this episode, we are joined by Kristina who gives us some great insight on Trusting the Process.
When we get into recovery whether it be in the world of mental health, substance abuse and often both, we want things to start happening fast!
On this episode we will discuss the importance of slowing down and giving ourselves some grace. We have come so far in a little amount of time! let's face it, accepting that we have an issue or problem can be one of the hardest things we ever do.
We need to take it easy, be patient, and find people that can help guide us through our process, or program of recovery.
All of us started somewhere, we weren't made perfect, we were made human, capable of making mistakes but also capable of rectifying those mistakes and become better for them.
We will discuss what it means to trust the process, how that might look in a program, and how to engage in the process in a healthy manner which gives us the best chance of success!!!
Please send us your testimony, and we will choose one of our lucky subscribers to send a brand-new Tactile Turn pen!!! Our sponsor, Tactile Turn, has provided us with excellent products that we want to spread the word about!!!
