The 3YØK team wishes all DXers a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Above all, this is a hobby we love! It's about making DX, searching for that rare DX, tuning into the bands, and listening for that faint signal.
In just one month, the 3YØK team will depart for Cape Town as we prepare for the 2026 Bouvet Island DX Expedition.
Bouvet Island, one of the most isolated places on the planet, is also among the most challenging DXCC entities to activate. Strong, persistent winds and frequent rainfall offer only brief breaks in the weather, creating an exceptionally harsh environment.
