Iranian President Raisi Involved in Helicopter "Hard Landing" Incident

Jolfa, Iran - Iranian President was involved in a incident on Sunday when the aircraft he was traveling in made a "hard landing," according to state TV reports. The incident took place near Jolfa, a city on the border with Azerbaijan, approximately 375 miles (600 kilometers) northwest of the Iranian capital, .

The helicopter was part of a convoy carrying President and other high-ranking officials, including 's Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian and the governor of Iran's East Azerbaijan province. The group was returning from the inauguration of a dam on the border between Iran and Azerbaijan.

The exact details of the incident are still unclear, with state media providing limited information. However, one local government official used the word "crash" to describe the incident, although he admitted he had not yet reached the site himself.

AbstractThe accuracy of methods for assembling transcripts from short-read RNA sequencing data is limited by the lack of long-range information. Here we introduce Ladder-seq, an approach that separates transcripts according to their lengths before sequencing and uses the additional information to improve the quantification and assembly of transcripts. Using simulated data, we show that a kallisto algorithm extended to process Ladder-seq data quantifies transcripts of complex genes with substantially higher accuracy than conventional kallisto. For reference-based assembly, a tailored scheme based on the StringTie2 algorithm reconstructs a single transcript with 30.8% higher precision than its conventional counterpart and is more than 30% more sensitive for complex genes. No matter which of the many proposed models for shared-edge networking is chosen, rising demand for ultra-low-latency applications will likely incentivise the location of micro-datacentres at those edges. This raises concerns about management and physical security.

Andy Barratt, UK managing director at global cyber security specialist Coalfire, agrees that edge micro-datacentre management will prove challenging, but suggests solutions will largely be evolutionary, not revolutionary.

While an "Archived" email can't be removed , "Deleted” emails will eventually vanish forever. Gmail keeps them in the "Trash" for 30 days just in case you change your mind. They're gone forever after that. However, you can speed it up if you wish.
To empty the trash, you'll need to open Gmail in a desktop browser or on your iPhone, iPad, or Android device. Use the "hamburger" menu button at the top-left corner of the screen to expand the menu--if it's not already expanded--and select "Trash."

At the top of the screen, you'll see a message explaining that trash is deleted after 30 days. To delete trash immediately, click "Empty Trash Now".
