[[ Found this gem of 2021. It was my last performance at my department in MBSTU. I wanted to sing a bold & powerful folk song. That time Sheikh Dina apu from band Ektara, covered this song in her unique way. I loved it so much. So inspired by that I chose this song to perform as my last. I am happy by my choice as you can hear the crowd's response 🌻

সব ছেলেরাই খারাপ না। হ্যা মানলাম। কিন্তু সরি বাট নট সরি, সব ছেলেরাই দোষী৷
বন্ধুমহলে মেয়েদের নিয়ে যখন মশলাদার কথাবার্তা চলে তখন ওই ভালো ছেলেগুলা চুপ থাকে কেন? কেন সুশীল ছেলেগুলা বাজে ছেলেগুলার মুখ বন্ধ করানোর চেয়ে বাসায় ফিরে নিজের মা বোন বান্ধুবীদের আটকে রাখতে চায় প্রোটেক্ট(!) করার জন্য? ছেলেরা ভালো করেই জানে তার কোন কোন বন্ধু কতটুকু অন্যায় করে এবং করতে পারে। তবু তারা মুখে কুলুপ এঁটে বসে থাকে। কেন?
মেয়েদের অনেক বেশি জ্ঞান দেয়া হয়ে গেছে এই ঘুণে ধরা সমাজে৷ এবার একটু ছেলেদের বলুন। ছেলেদের শিখান কোনটা ব্যাড টাচ, কোনটা গুড ম্যানার। ছেলেরা ছেলেদের আগে আটকান। "আমি তো কখনো কোন মেয়ের ক্ষতি করিনি" শুধু এটুক বলে দায়সারা হয়ে থাকলেই আপনি ফেরেশতা হয়ে গেলেন মনে করেন? এই কথার ভার একদিন আপনার নিজের মা,বোন,স্ত্রী, প্রেমিকা, বান্ধুবী কাউকে না কাউকে নিতে হবেই। তখন কেমন লাগবে একটু ভেবে দেখবেন।

কথায় কথায় জামাত শিবির জঙ্গী যেই ট্যাগটা।

গত ১৫ বছর সবচেয়ে Minority কারা ছিলো জানেন?

যারা Islam practice করতো।
মুখে দাড়ি আছে, নামাজ পরে, পরিপূর্ণ পর্দা করে, নিজের Facebook wall এ নিজের ধর্মের কোরান-হাদিস শেয়ার দেয় মানেই তারা শিবির না হয় জ*ঙ্গী।

কোন ইসলামিক বই রাখতেও ছাত্ররা ভয় পেতো।
পাছে সেটাকে জিহাদি বই বলে চালিয়ে জ*ঙ্গী হিসেবে আখ্যায়িত করা যায়। এবং সেক্ষেত্রে তাদের পুশুর মতো মারাও জায়েজ হয়ে যায়। ধর্ম নিরপেক্ষতা মানে সব ধর্মের মানুষের দেশে সমান অধিকার থাকবে নিজ ধর্ম পালনের। কিন্তু এটা কতোটুকু ছিলো সবাই দেখেছেন নিত্যদিনকার ছোট-বড় নানান ঘটনায়। ইসলামের বাহ্যিক বৈশিষ্ট্য বহনকারী আমরা সাধারণ মানুষেরও বাঁকা নজর, বাঁকা কথা থেকে বাঁচতে পারিনি।
আমরা আদতে সংখ্যায় লঘু না হলেও, we did indeed feel like that!

"Just Let them.
If they want to choose something or someone over you, LET THEM.
If they want to go weeks without talking to you, LET THEM.

If they are showing you who they are and not what you perceived them to be, LET THEM.
If they want to follow the crowd, LET THEM.
If they want to judge or misunderstand you, LET THEM.
If they act like they can live without you, LET THEM.
If they want to walk out of your life and leave, hold the door open, AND LET THEM.
Let them lose you.
You were never theirs, because you were always your own.
So let them.
Let them show you who they truly are, not tell you.
Let them prove how worthy they are of your time.
Let them make the necessary steps to be a part of your life.
Let them earn your forgiveness.
Let them call you to talk about ordinary things.
Let them take you out on a Thursday.
Let them talk about anything and everything just because it's you they are talking to.
Let them have a safe place in you.
Let them see the heart in you that didn't harden. Let them love you."

ভালোবাসা মেঘ + আবার হাসিমুখ ❤️

[[ I used to love singing with my students.. Progga & Aditi are two of them.. I covered these two legendary songs by Shironamhin with them to keep our old memories alive forever. Also it was the last day of leaving Tangail city. I wish I had more time to cover songs with all of my students. ]]

আপনি হয়তো মনপ্রাণ ঢেলে সবার জন্য করছেন, খাটছেন, সময় দিচ্ছেন, যখন আপনাকে প্রয়োজন হচ্ছে ছুটে যাচ্ছেন। ভাবছেন-- একদিন আমার প্রয়োজনে এই মানুষগুলা বুঝবে।
তিক্ত সত্য হলো-- না। বুঝবেনা।
একটা সময় আপনি বাস্তবতার মুখোমুখি হবেন।যখন জীবন পিষতে থাকবে আপনাকে,তখন সেই মানুষগুলাই আপনার জায়গাটা আর বুঝতে চাইবেনা৷ কারণ আপনি তাদের অভ্যস্ত করে ফেলেছেন। আপনার আলাদা জীবন, আলাদা স্বাচ্ছন্দ্য থাকতে পারে এটা তখন আর গুরুত্ব পাবেনা। আপনি এতকাল মেইনটেইন করেছেন মানে আপনার আজীবনই মেইনটেইন করার দায় এসে পড়বে। কারণ এটাই স্বাভাবিক মনে হবে সবার কাছে৷ "ও তো করেই, ও পারেই, ওকেই করতে হবে"।"আর পারছি না"- বললে আপনি তখন কাঠগড়ার আসামি। কেন পারবেন না কৈফিয়ত দিতে হবে।কোন মাফ নাই।
তাই জীবনে যতই সময় থাকুক, নিজের স্পেস মেইনটেইন করে তারপর অন্যদিকে সময় ঢালা উচিত। একবার অভ্যস্ততা চলে আসলে আপনার ইচ্ছা অনিচ্ছার মর্যাদা আর কখনোই করা হবেনা।
