We had a Great time in Whitby highlights for me in no particular order were meeting friends, Method Cell, The 69 Eyes and Dark Side of the 80s.
The Whitby fun is behind us now and I can stop grumbling about photographers on Church Street and the price of beer and ques at the brewery now.
So what next? Well Corrosion's A Very Goth New Years Eve Masquerade Ball springs to mind. When there was no known Goth New Years Eve event in 2017 and you asked for one we picked it up and ran with it and it was a sell out event and we are still running. People come from all over the UK for our New Year's Eve, we even had a couple from New Zealand one year! if you are coming to Bats in the Attic 2023 This Weekend and you are planning on arriving a day early for the Thursday night get together we have some sad News, Morecambe's Rock Pub The Bath where we normally get together sadly shut down last month. :(

DON'T PANIC! We will be opening the front bar at The Alhambra so we can still get together a night early. I will put on a Corrosion set list to get you in the mood for a weekend of awesome Bats In The Attic fun.

I should post more on here but since Facebook split pages from personal profiles I don't know who I am any more. Any way I'm here now and ready to share some CorrosionFest 2023 info with you all.

We do prefer you to buy your tickets online so we know how many are coming as we need to know how many staff we need. We don't need to know if we have sold enough tickets to pay bands, crew and door staff as we work a year behind so this years bands etc are paid from the budget created by last years CorrosionFest ticket sales. That way we know the event is going ahead unless something like the government sends us all to our rooms again. but for those of you that want to pay on the door that is good too. So here is a list of ticket prices so you know how much it will cost on the door and how much online.

Weekend tickets online £48 on the Door £50
Saturday tickets online £36 on The Door £40
Friday tickets online £26 on the Door £30

So now you know we will be going ahead and how much tickets are. :)

Remember always buy your tickets from us or someone you know who can no longer come, we do get targeted by low life scumbags ticket Frauds.

Ahoy I think I have recovered from new year's eve's beer, rum and tequila and my brain is back to working at it's sub standard level of genius putting me back on the level of mad DJ! So now is the time to thank everyone that came to Corrosion for New Year's Eve. We really are very thankful for your support traveling from far and wide to spend your time and money with us.

All the profit from ticket sales goes to growing CorrosionFest by helping pay for bands we could not normally afford to put on at current CorrosionFest ticket sales funds alone. Eventually if all goes well and government don't destroy the hospitality industry CorrosionFest will become self sustaining and continue growing. So from the Corrosion team thank you very much.

The money you spend over the bar helps the Alhambra to keep paying the bills and without the Alhambra there is no Corrosion so from all the staff that volunteer at the Alhambra and the Corrosion teams thank you very much.

Now I'm going to ask for something, well a couple of things, one will cost you your hard earned money and one will just cost you a little of your time. We would be very grateful if you could spread the word and tell people about Corrosion and CorrosionFest and the other is buy tickets for CorrosionFest and have a great time.

Whitby was great fun even without the big event and big bands. Just goes to show it's not always about who you go to see play it's who you go with, the friends you meet and the new friends you make and giving the not so famous bands a chance. :D
