Lockdown, Gaming, Coffee and Streaming
I decided after spending hour and hour gaming over lockdown that I would try my hand at something new; becoming a low level Twitch streamer.
I started a channel under the name S7E9H which was a play on my name (Stephan). However, after speaking with other Twitch streamers about their names they advised me I needed to find something unique, something that was easy to read and remember. I thought to my self what do I like, I looked at what I was drinking.....Coffee.
Back in 2012 I was in Afghanistan and heard a US Soldier say “Darn, I need a strong cup of Joe’’ and that stuck in my mind of these years. Cup_of_Joe was already taken on Twitch so I head to re-think. After a few trial and error moments Joeys_Coffee_Cup was born.
Heading back onto Twitch with my new found name I can say it was warmly received. Some of the top Cities: Skylines streamers such as Imperial Jedi, Slay3k and KaybsGaming mentioned it was the right move to make.
