Growing up, my mom was a business owner. From a young age, I would attend entrepreneurship seminars with her and connect with like-minded go-getters. It was such a positive group, and it helped me shape my business mindset in so many ways. I learned the power of having an abundance mindset, rather than a scarcity mindset. Simply put, this means that I am aware that there is abundance in the world, plenty of room for everyone to reach the top, and plenty of resources. I also believe that God provides and that generally, everything happens for a reason. Therefore, Iâve never really worried about money too much. Obviously, that doesnât mean I spend outside my means or that Iâm unrealistic, but I simply have a good relationship and understanding around money and believe itâll always work out one way or another.
Exactly one year ago, I was laid off from my job. It was a good paying job, the primary income source for my family at the time. We had also just bought a house 3 months prior, and I had just found out I was pregnant with my 3rd baby. Yet, I believed everything would work out. Here I am a year later, with a stronger belief than ever about what Iâm called to do in life. Although I have a new job to pay the bills, Iâm also pursuing my passion and connecting with like-minded mamas who also want to build the life of their dreams. Doing all this while also being a stay at home mama to my newborn baby â itâs a lot, but itâs worth it. Iâm so glad that Iâm pushing forward and following my heart with an abundance mindset. I hope that my kids can pick up this mindset as they grow as well. Do you have an abundance mindset? Could pursuing your passions change your life? What if you were to stop worrying so much about what could go wrong and start thinking about what could go right?
