Basic Haircare Routine Tips for Beginners

-Necessary products consist of shampoo, conditioner/deep conditioner (depending on your hair porosity),leave-in conditioner,oil/butter.You can also choose to buy stylers if you want to,like mouse ,curl cream,gel etc.

-Find out what your hair porosity is.How fast does your hair absorb water.(I will talk about this on my YouTube channel in future).

-Wash your hair weekly or biweekly,depending on how fast your scalp collects dirty and gets products build-up.

-Protective styles are very helpful, especially during the beginner stage of being natural ,but try to use less extensions such as braiding hair so that your hair can adjust to the new routine.Avoid doing hairstyles that will cause intention on your hairlines/edges.

-Essential tools consist of detangling brush ,hair clips/ties,skills,bonnets/scarves,brush,afro comb, microfiber towel/t-shirt.

-Moisturize your hair often.If you feel your hair is drying up, moisturize with water and leave-in conditioner.

-Don't comb your hair too often!
