OUT NOW – “dystalgia” the new full length album by Tim Van Eyck dropped today on all major platforms. This is Tim’s second release with Circa Recordings and once again presents his piano compositions in a style of nostalgic yearnings with a sound tuned to a different era. As much as we love these new tracks… they also come paired with some of our favorite track titles. There’s a clever bit of wit and sarcasm woven through, with favorites like the full string delivery of “Is this what reincarnation feels like?” and the quiet melancholy of “Hesitation in F minor.”

New Artist News! We are very happy to announce another new member on our roster of artists, Alex Aller based in Madrid, Spain. Mr. Aller is an award-winning music producer and composer writing for film and dance as well as solo releases, along with electronic project, Jus Kno’.

Alex regularly performs his works live, including a magical stage set inside a cave in Sardinia, Italy in 2022 where a ray of blue light illuminates the space for only a hour a day. His compositions are also in very good company at Wise Music, which is the home of familiar names such as Ólafur Arnalds, Ludovico Einaudi and Hania Rani, to name a few.

Alex’s new modern classical EP “The Shelter” will be released on Circa Recordings on June 15. More news coming soon...

We are very pleased to announce the newest member of our roster of artists, Ben Morales Frost, from across the pond in London. Ben has been very busy and highly successful composing and scoring for film, television and theatre as the main focus of his music-making output.

Now, when he’s not crafting dramatic orchestrations for Netflix’s “Luther: The Fallen Sun”, or writing emotional songs for his latest theatre show, he’s composing quiet solo piano melodies soon to be released on Circa Recordings. Ben’s first single will be available May 11 as a new series of singles in the coming months.

3 years ago today… Circa Recordings was born into the wide world of music publishing. It has been a wonderful and wild ride these past (crazy) years. Yet, it is only by the love and support of our international family of artists that this little indie record label has found its footing and has flourished despite all odds. To celebrate this anniversary we have curated a select playlist of tracks that occupy a special place in our hearts as well as set the tone to define what we envisioned as our mission to promote modern classical, ambient and electronic composers from all corners of the planet.
