BIYAHENG BANGSAMORO attends the Official Launching of the Damak Festival of Datu Odin Sinsuat Municipality yesterday afternoon!

We got a chance to talk to the Municipal Tourism Office Staff, none other than, Datu Habib A. Salazar! To the Damak Festival Committee Member- Sir Nazzer Abubakar, to the Cultural Master - Sir Samsudin Piang, even to the Artistic Director George Kimboy!

We even got a chance to talk to the Honorable Municipal Mayor of Datu Odin Sinsuat, none other than HON. CHERYL MARY ROSE ANN L. SINSUAT!

What a powerhouse conversation we had! Truly, DAMAK FESTIVAL is an occasion to be proud of!

BIYAHENG BANGSAMORO UPDATE NO. 1, S. 2021

With the initiation of DXTC 95.9 Radyo Natin FM Cotabato City, Biyaheng Bangsamoro Documentary Series Project Head Ammarah Ismael Taug visits Ministry of Trade Investment and Tourism to discuss potential partnership with the Ministry today, 11:00am.

In behalf of Minister Abuamri A. Taddik, BBDS Project Head Taug was warmly welcomed by the Office of the Deputy Minister Atty. Sukarno A. Abas, and the Office of the Chief of Planning, Anwar A. Dimaucom.

During the short, yet fruitful meeting, Atty. Abas, Chief Dimaucom, and Project Head Taug discussed the need to support this ambitious project as there should be a unified effort to further preserve, and re-discover our Bangsamoro Origins.

The meeting ended beautifully, yet to further the efforts for this cause is about to start, in shaa Allah.

IT WAS ONLY A THREE-HOUR filming activity for today, but my eyes have witnessed so many things the cameras failed to do so. It was neither the camera, nor the man behind the equipment, but only the fact that the lenses will never surpass the eyes.

The memories of today's shoot remained freshly at the back of my head: the children racing from one road to the other, families taking some strolls, the waves from the sea silently creeping its way back and forth to the sands, reaching my toes; the majestic mountains filled with its bounty, trees enthusiastically greeting each other as the gentle wind helps them move.. I couldn't help but say, Allah has given me the best camera ever, my eyes. Alhamdu lillah.

I hope more people could get to realize how beautiful our eyes are, if we only choose to look at the right things the right way. The lenses of the cameras will never see the world as how my eyes have seen it.
