Lost in all the emotion of yesterday's Supreme Court decision is the simple facts:

1. Abortion is NOT a Constitutional "right", it is not in the founding document.

2. This kicks the issue to the states as mentioned in the 10th amendment to decide on an individual basis.

3. That means abortions are still legal in some states and not in others, but they are available.

Two false comparisons being made right now:

1. The new ruling on guns means access to them is more widely available than abortions. TRUE, because the Supreme Court is supposed to interpret the Constitution and it is clearly and unequivocally laid out on a federal level in the 2nd Amendment that our right to fi****ms "shall not be infringed", whereas abortion is not in the Constitution at all.

2. Those that screamed "my body, my choice" with the vaccine are now hypocrites for their pro-life stance. FALSE, again, abortion just so happens to be the action being ruled on, at the end of the day i it comes down to the language of the Constitution and whether or not something is explicitly said or not within the document, this was not and CAN NOT be an emotional ruling otherwise our system would be based on flimsy human emotions, twisting and turning on a daily basis instead of being rooted in concrete ideas.

Despite what it may seem, I don't take pleasure in attacking the Left and Biden administration, I have a passion for politics and political "cause and effects".

For example:

In my lifetime I have heard throughout multiple administrations during "pop up crisis" scenarios, that digging for oil and refining it wouldn't make a difference because "by the time we dig it up and refine it, the crisis will be over". Yet, we've heard this at least 5 times in the last two decades.

What's the takeaway? Had we become energy and oil independent in the past and stuck with it, we could easily enforce foreign sanctions on incoming oil and actually put the screws to tyrannical governments.

What we are dealing with NOW is a situation where within 1 year we went from an net energy EXPORTER to a net energy IMPORTER.

The Biden administration's oil and energy sanctions COULD HAVE put the hurt on Russia AND not hurt Americans in the wallets IF we were taking advantage of our own oil fields.

In related information, Russia oil only accounts for about 10% of our oil imports, with Canada being the VAST majority of our oil import.

Another thing to note is the amount of tax "per gallon" across the country. Here in Pennsylvania between State and Federal taxes it accounts for about $1 of every gallon.

Why is this all relevant? Because the Biden administration blatantly and intentionally lied this morning when they said gas price increases were solely due to the Putin and Russia.

1. Gas prices started increasing as soon as Biden took office and shut down the pipeline, refining and by proxy thousands of American jobs.

2. By not drilling and refining American oil we are increasingly relying on foreign oil and at the mercy of other countries and big oil.

3. Opening our reserves, which were originally meant as backup for war times to oil our war machine, can only power US citizens for a grand total of 2 days...2 DAYS.

4. The Biden administration could Institute a federal gas "holiday" suspending Gas taxes until the crisis is over, but when have you ever seen a Democrat move in the negative direction on taxes?

5. Again, we wouldn't be here if we were producing our own oil, therefore negating EVER saying "by the time we do that..." ever again.

6. In a recent evaluation on the effects of gas price hikes and it's effects on things like groceries and inflation, the average American family is now paying an extra $3,000/year to stay level with what they're used to under Biden. Yet, Biden's tip for saving on gas is to insulate your home and buy an electric car....so the average American family is getting screwed for $3k/year and you want them to buy a new car on top of it? Which would require home upgrades for the car plugin btw.

I get the "push" for green energy and alternative energies but when you are in the middle of a crisis and those goals are 10 years out anyway, even as a Democrat President, the responsible thing to say is "My fellow Americans, I want to go green as many of you want as well, but right now as the nation and world face a crisis and lingering threats of war, we must open our pipelines and refine our own energy to secure American independence from foreign interference that could threaten or hold hostage our energy resources that we consume. So until we can pursue clean, efficient and sustainable energy that can replace fossil fuels and NOT hurt Americans in their budget, we MUST take advantage of what God gave us here on our soil".

That being said though, I unfortunately believe everything that's happening is MEANT to hurt Americans until we reach a breaking point and beg for their "New Green Deal" policy that is greatly flawed.

But what do we expect? They did the same thing to us with the virus and vaccines that didn't end up doing what they were promised to do....but I guess it'll be different with energy right?

At the end of the day this suspension is more show than anything else, Whoopie says stupid crap all the time that's just as bad.

Fact is that The View ratings have been on a constant decline and they think giving her a temporary suspension will male people say "Ooooh, they must be talking about juicy stuff, can't wait to hear what the rest of the panel says and what she says when she gets back!".
