*Big Girls and Big Boys Annual Reunion*

Casa Complex was the Venue, in the core of the Capital City, Harare.

Old Skool music enthusiasts, mainly members of the *Big Girls and Big Boys Club,* gathered to reminisce on good music of the days gone by, on Saturday, the 5th of August, 2023.

The day's programme began in enerst with a welcoming speech by the Club's Chairman Taka Owen Ruzvidzo who also relayed a special audio message from the Club's President and Patron Ronald Chiwanza, the Dtrain from his new base,the United Kingdom.

It was soon after Chiwanza's speech when all invited guests were officially welcomed by Zviko Chipangura who happens to be the Organising Secretary for the Club.

Guest of Honour and ZBC Classic 263 Radio Station Manager, Mr Terrence Mapurisana, delivered a speech of unity through music and its impact to people's everyday living.

Legendary Musician Zex Manatsa's son, Givemore Manatsa, who is currently enjoying a green patch as a Director Of Ceremonies, was also part of the Special Invited Guests and delivered his mini speech on behalf of The Steppers Radio Fan Club Members. He took the members back memory lane when he returned to the podium and performed one of his late father's greatest hits of all time, *Chipo Chiroorwa.*

Revellers took to the dance floor enjoying old skool tunes which were being played by seasoned Producer, Rex Kabwato, who at one moment managed the Mutare Based Musical Group, Assegai Crew.

The most defining moment was when the live musical bands took to the stage and made turns to perform. It was an electric atmosphere. Dynamos legend, Labani Kandi, was also part of the perfoming acts. Beaulah Mbirimi, sister to Clancy Mbirimi, also took to the stage and did not disappoint.

Talking Guitars,the anchor band played some soul soothing Afro Jazz, much to the excitement of everyone present on this day.They also backed most of the artists on the day.

Jean Masters also made a very solid perfomance.

James Chimombe must be smiling where ever he is as his daughter, Tendai Chimombe, is keeping his legacy alive. She also took to the stage and gave her all later in the evening.

Musicians who are also members of the Big Girls and Big Boys Club also showed their singing prowess on the very same occasion.Ashley Adam's,Anna Fife aka Naps,Ganizani Karanga,Vanso,Aaron Dziko,Muddy Nyungwa of the Wagon Wheels fame,Total Package led by Big Fatha Laban Kandi as well as Big Boy Charlie Chiwanza gave it their all.Even the Chairman Taka Owen Ruzvidzo aka Teekay also had a stint on the stage.

Other notable figures who came were former Zimbabwe International Football Referee, Tendayi Bwanya,(Member of the BGBB Club)as cool as a cucumber, is how one may describe him.

Former Front Line Kid Jivas Dzotizei drove us down memory lane.
It was indeed a well organised event by Taka Owen Ruzvidzo and his Committee. Mr Ignatious Kapfunde was tremendous in providing the Venue. There was no shortage of beverages as Big Josh Hozheri a Committee member ably supplied drinks to everyone's taste.There was food galore.
