We just LOVE our lady Cardinals. We've had three separate mama/papa cardinal pairs come visit and stay with us all spring/summer. We haven't spotted any of their fledglings yet, but I'm sure we'll see them soon!

(Also the cardinals are hilarious to us bc they are the messiest eaters we've ever encountered. Cracks us up)

We recently moved to Coastal South Carolina and absolutely LOVE the Carolina Wrens that came to our feeders. They are small round little fellows - cute as a button.

Have you all ever spotted a Pileated Woodpecker in the wild? They can get BIG, and their 'pecking' can often sound like a jackhammer on wood!

We had a great little batch of cardinal fledglings this spring, but always love the Winter hatchlings! They are extra fluffy!
