"I realized that being a Filipino is a gift. I am a part of one of the most hard working people in the world and that the Filipino people are very resilient regardless of the situation they are in. They will find a way to make something happen regardless of the situation they are in."

We made it, IPSJians!

IPSJ got its School Identification Number. The School Identification (ID) Number is a unique and permanent six-digit number assigned to any educational institution offering basic education in the Philippines and a private education institution registered under Philippine corporation laws.

Mrs. Miracle F. Tapado, our principal, happily announced the issuance of our school ID. She said, “Our school ID is 700033! We will now generate the LRN of our students. We shall start with our graduating classes to be followed by non-graduating students”.

Few requirements i.e Birth Certificate shall be submitted to the registrar’s office. The LRN will be printed on our school documents starting today. Congratulations IPSJ!

Good News, IPSJ!

A message from our dear principal:
“Our hard work is not in vain!

The Department of Education just issued IPSJ a government permit! The copy of our newly issued permit was already submitted to the concerned DepEd Office for processing of our School ID! 🙂 We are expecting it anytime soon. If, due to time constraint, it will not be issued early enough for us to encode all LRNs for all our students, we will be happy to start assigning it to our students next academic year :)

Thank you to all of you who worked hard and are continually working hard for it! Our labor have just paid off! Congratulations, my IPSJ team! 🙂

Because our compliance is only partial, our Government Permit is Provisional for two school years. This means that we have 2 years to comply with all the requirements completely.

Included in the list of what we need to complete in two years time is your
1.) Passing in Licensure Examination for teachers
2.) Completion of Master's Degree in Education
3.) Participation in seminar and training relevant to the field of education
4.) Our improvement in facilities (Science laboratories and Gymnasium)

Truly, we reap a good harvest if we will not get tired of working hard 🙂

Let us continue moving as one team towards the fulfillment of our one goal for one IPSJ!

Again, my salutation to IPSJ Faculty and Staff SY 19-20 for a job excellently done! Congratulations!!! To God be the glory!!! "

[📷] JUST IN: The Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah celebrates Rizal Day!

On the 30th of December 2019, the Philippine Consulate General celebrates the 121st death anniversary of the Philippines' beloved national hero, Jose P. Rizal, whose death resonated with the Philippine masses and inspired them to fight for the freedom which we enjoy today.

Students from the International Philippine School of Jeddah were chosen to represent the school in the event's poster-making contest. The IPSJ Drum and Lyre Corps., headed by Ma'am Mona Adil, have been chosen to conduct the singing of the Philippine national anthem.
