That guy/lady that you know now but take for granted could be MD of NNPC tomorrow, could even be the COAS tomorrow or even the leader of OPC.. The person could even be President tomorrow..
If you have a good relationship with them now, you can easily access them later in life but if the reverse is the case, you will only tell people the story of how worthless they were in the 'PAST'...

This is my simple definition of CONNECTION
