Husband and Wife:*

I put her in the Suzuki car I was using and I drove to market square. I did not even tell her we were going to market square. When we got there, she exploded

"Do you have money? What are we doing here? I said, "just follow me and pick anything you want."
Right inside market square, I picked cart and wheeled it behind her. "Pick anything you want baby."

See women o! Na so she dey pick, pick, pick. "The cart come full"

I picked the bill, almost N86,000. As we were going out of the mall, something struck her ..and she said, "Honey You did not buy yourself anything! she wondered"

"Ah, I have no cash left. Let us go home ..."

"No, I have some money she said. Let's go back and pick what you want. So we went back. My wife picked a bill of N24k for me alone.

Now, you know I never knew my wife had money on her? But she brought it out and spent on me because I had impressed her.
*My man, Impress your wife, she will spin surprises on you.*

Now look at this again: when I scrutinised all we bought with my N86k, hardly was there anything strictly for her. Almost everything we bought were things we used at home and for the children. But when it was her turn to buy for me, I bought things for MYSELF! Shaving cream, boxers, stockings, slippers, DVDs, singlets, etc. Things me alone use!

*It taught me a great lesson: most women are good. Most women are not greedy. All they want is show them you love them, you will be surprise for life !*

Men, give your wives pocket money today. Cultivate the habit. Don't say sebi she is working.
And women, don't say how much are you giving me sef? Always appreciate what he gives you and say thank you. May God bless our marriage.

"A Lady asked an old street vendor: "How much do you sell your eggs for?" The old man replied "0.50¢ an egg, madam.” The Lady responde, “I'll take 6 eggs for $2.00 or I'm leaving.” The old salesman replied, “Buy them at the price you want, Madam. This is a good start for me because I haven't sold a single egg today and I need this to live.”

She bought her eggs at a bargain price and left with the feeling that she had won. She got into her fancy car and went to a fancy restaurant with her friend. She and her friend ordered what they wanted. They ate a little and left a lot of what they had asked for. So they paid the bill, which was $150. The ladies gave $200 and told the fancy restaurant owner to keep the change as a tip.

This story might seem quite normal to the owner of the fancy restaurant, but very unfair to the egg seller. The question it raises is;
Why do we always need to show that we have power when we buy from the needy?
And why are we generous to those who don't even need our generosity?

We once read somewhere that a father used to buy goods from poor people at a high price, even though he didn't need the things. Sometimes he paid more for them. His children were amazed. One day they asked him "why are you doing this dad?" The father replied: "It's charity wrapped in dignity.”

‘The Meaning Of Life!’

Once upon a time, there was a young man named Alex who was always searching for the meaning of life. He read books, consulted philosophers, and talked to wise men, but no one could give him a satisfactory answer.

Once upon a time, a very strong woodcutter asked for a job in a timber merchant and he got it. The pay was really good and so was the work condition. For those reasons, the woodcutter was determined to do his best.

His boss gave him an axe and showed him the area where he supposed to work.

The first day, the woodcutter brought 18 trees.

“Congratulations,” the boss said. “Go on that way!”

Very motivated by the boss words, the woodcutter tried harder the next day, but he could only bring 15 trees. The third day he tried even harder, but he could only bring 10 trees. Day after day he was bringing less and less trees.

“I must be losing my strength”, the woodcutter thought. He went to the boss and apologized, saying that he could not understand what was going on.

“When was the last time you sharpened your axe?” the boss asked.

“Sharpen? I had no time to sharpen my axe. I have been very busy trying to cut trees…”

Our lives are like that. We sometimes get so busy that we don’t take time to sharpen the “axe”. In today’s world, it seems that everyone is busier than ever, but less happy than ever.

Why is that? Could it be that we have forgotten how to stay “sharp”? There’s nothing wrong with activity and hard work.

But we should not get so busy that we neglect the truly important things in life, like our personal life, taking time to fulfill our hobbies, giving more time for our family, taking time to read, enhancing our skills, upgrading our knowledge, being aware of our strengths and weaknesses, spending time for our self-development and health etc.

We all need time to relax, to think and meditate, to learn and grow. If we don’t take the time to sharpen the “axe”, we will become dull and lose our effectiveness.

I attended a burial ceremony of my friend Grand mother yesterday but their tradition demands that at every burial ceremony an old man will come out and announce the next person to Die 😭😭😭😭😭

Stop Wasting Money On Insecticide: Get Salt, Kerosine And Any Detergent, and Do This.

Many have wasted alot of money on insecticide, not knowing that there's also another way through which you can get rid of insects both the ones flying and creeping in your house.

What it takes to get them permanently rid of in your house and compound is at your disposal.

It has been working, just that many people do not know about it.

Many of us make use of Kerosine, same as everyone uses Salt and detergent is in everyone's home because it is one of most used in many families.

Get an empty container (it could be Eva water empty container) get salt, Kerosine and any detergent of your choice and follow this steps provided below.

HOW TO MIX INGREDIENTS TOGETHER.

Get the empty container, pour about 10 tea spoon of Salt into the empty container, get any detergent of your choice, pour like 100 naira detergent into the container, Now get your Kerosine, pour till it gets to half of the container and then cover the container and shake it very well.

When you want to apply it, make a little hole on the cover of the container and apply gently.

Have you been disturbed by mosquitoes, bedbugs, ants, flies, centipede, snakes, lizard, insects, reptiles of all sorts, both creeping and flying insects, now their ends are here.
After mixing ingredients together, you can now apply them where necessary to kill any insects disturbing your peace in the house.

Apply in and around your compound every three (3) months to avoid snakes and any creepy creature, for bedbugs, apply it around the affected places including on the foam and see the wonder of the mixture.

For mosquitoes, drop around some strategic places around your room and leave for 20mins, your peace is restored.

For flies, drop around the places, and u won't see them again.
After trying this and it works for you, don't keep it to yourself alone, tell others about it, spread the good news.

A "mouse" was put at the top of a jar filled with grains.

He was so happy to find so much food around him that he no longer felt the need to run around searching for food and now he could happily live his life.

After a few days of enjoying the grains, he reached the bottom of the jar.Suddenly, he realized that he was trapped and he couldn't get out.

He now has to fully depend on someone to put grains in the jar for him to survive.He also may not get the grain of his choice and he cannot choose either. He now has no choice but to eat what he's given.

A few lessons to learn from this:
1. Short term pleasures can lead to long-term traps.
2. If things come easy and you get comfortable, you are getting trapped into dependency.
3. When you are not using your skills, you will lose more than your skills. You lose your CHOICES and FREEDOM.
4. Freedom does not come easy but can be lost quickly.
5. NOTHING comes easily in life and if it comes easily, maybe it is not worth it.
Don't curse your struggles. They are your blessings in disguise.

An elephant and a dog got pregnant at the same time. Three months late the dog gave birth to puppies. Six months late the dog was pregnant again, and nine months late she gave birth to another dozen puppies. And so that pattern continued.

🪶Short moral story of the day🪶

"A group of frogs were traveling through the forest when two of them fell into a deep pit. The other frogs gathered around the pit and looked down, seeing how deep it was, they told the two frogs that there was no hope left for them.

However, the two frogs decided to ignore what the others were saying and tried to jump out of the pit with all their might. The other frogs kept telling them to stop, that it was too high and they would never make it, but the two frogs continued to jump as hard as they could.

Finally, one of the frogs took heed of what the others were saying and gave up, falling down to his death. The other frog continued to jump as hard as he could, and eventually, he leaped out of the pit.

When he got out, the other frogs asked him, "Why did you continue jumping? Didn't you hear us?" The frog explained to them that he was deaf and thought they were cheering him on the entire time.

The moral of the story is that words have the power to lift us up or bring us down, so we should always be careful with what we say to others. Our words can inspire and motivate others to achieve great things, or they can discourage and bring them down."

✨Short Moral Story✨
"In a train, two children were running here and there. Sometimes they would fight with each other, and at times they would jump on top of seats.

The father, sitting nearby, was lost in his thoughts.
In between, when the children looked at him, he would put on an affectionate smile, and then the children would again get busy with their mischief and the father would keep looking at them lovingly.

The co-travellers of the train were upset by the children's playfulness and annoyed by the father's attitude. Since it was night time, everyone wanted to rest.

Seeing the running around of the children, a traveller could not stop himself and exclaimed to the father - "What kind of father are you? The children are behaving so naughtily, and instead of stopping them you are encouraging them with your smiles. Is it not your duty to explain to them?"

The father paused for a few moments and said, "I am just thinking how to explain it to them brother." The man said, "my wife had gone to her maternal home. She passed away yesterday due to an accident. I am taking the children there for the final rites, and now I'm confused how to explain to them that now they will never see their mother again."

Hearing this, everyone was stunned. Let alone saying something, nobody was even able to think straight.

The children were still engaged in their mischiefs. They were still running around in the compartment. There was no change in the atmosphere, but those children were no longer looking like undisciplined kids to the co-passengers but were looking like soft young flowers, on which everyone wanted to pour their love.

The father was no longer a careless person, but now he was seen as the father and the mother of two children, saddened by the separation of his life partner.

The moral of the story is: "Don't judge a book by its cover." It is easy to make assumptions about people based on their behavior or appearance, but we should take the time to understand thei

A Beer company was hiring a taster, Someone to taste the beers before they are taken for selling. So they placed adverts and one afternoon, my father walked into the manager's office asking to be employed.

The manager tried to figure out how he could drive him away but couldn't come up with an idea, so he decided to give him a trial. He ordered his secretary to give him a glass of wine 🍷

He took a sip and said, "It's Red wine, Varietal, three years old, grown on rift valley, matured in steel containers."

"That's correct!" The manager exclaimed, "Well give him another one let's see." So he was given.

He took a sip again and said, "It's Guinness, a combination of barley, roast malt extract, and brewers yeast brewed around Thika road in Nairobi, Kenya 2 years ago"

"Incredible!" said the manager.

Now the manager went closer to the secretary and whispered to her saying, "Go get some of your urine in a cup let's see if he will get that."

informed the guy that she met her
friend, a Swedish lady also married to a

💐 Short Story of the Day 💐
One night, a snake was searching for food when it entered a carpenter's untidy workshop. The floor was cluttered with tools, including a saw. As the snake slithered around the workshop, it accidentally slid over the saw, causing a small cut.

Believing the saw was attacking it, the snake retaliated and bit it fiercely, causing its mouth to bleed. The snake became enraged and continued attacking the saw until it was covered in blood. The snake eventually died from its self-inflicted wounds, as it wrapped itself around the saw and squeezed with all its might.

The moral of this story is that sometimes in our anger, we attack the wrong target, leading to our own self-destruction. It is important to take a moment to assess a situation before acting impulsively. Rushing into action without proper consideration can lead to regrettable outcomes.
Sometimes we react with anger not realizing we are only hurting ourselves. In life, sometimes it's better to ignore situations, ignore people and their behavior. People say and do things but it's your decision to react in a positive way.
