We have not shared our life update with you, so it’s time for the big reveal.
Jim & I did a thing ~ we bought approximately 8 acres of land in DeLand, FL. DeLand is a vibrant college town up in Central Florida in West Volusia.
We put our Fort Pierce home up for sale in January, and close on that September 1 and we are now going to build our dream home!
We have a builder - Choctaw Construction, we have house plans, and pool plans, and are in the beginning stages of this new phase of our life.
We are packing out our house, moving into a beachfront condo here in Fort Pierce for the next 8-9 months, and keeping our 34’ boat at Harbortown Marina.
For those who know us really well this should not come as a surprise. Doors don’t close in our lives; they literally slam shut. While we originally anticipated moving into one of our own rental condos here, God had other plans for us. That condo has a contract and will close 9/17.

We’ve been able to get 85% of our house packed up in 9 days.
We’ve donated a bed, mattress, dresser, 2 side dressers, TV stand, 2 boxes of misc household things, 10 bags of my clothes, 2 large boot boxes of jewelry and more.
