A GOOD NAME

A GOOD NAME |FESTUS

A good name is more desirable than great riches. (Proverbs 22:1)

As believers we work everyday to build a good name and good reputation for ourselves, we work hard to have a good reputation before people and integrity before God Almighty but however they're people who are always in a mission to destroy our good names.

They write our good works on sand to be wiped away by winds but write our little errors on rocks to last forever. They stand to presently attack you for who you used to be, because they can't stop who you have become now in Christ Jesus.

It is in Ministry I learnt that people hates good and embrace evil. I learnt that for every level they're new devils to face... As you grow in any aspect of life people know that you now have a good name and reputation to maintain, they just speak all manner of lies and cleverly deviced stories against you to tarnish your good name and reputation.

Anything genuine, no matter how criticized, accused, lied against, persecuted and called names it will STILL stand. It will stand the test of time.

The question I always receive from people is that why do I seem calm and quiet in the midst of accusations, persecutions, lies, name callings and criticism?

My answer is always as follows ; well my faith is meant to thrive through challenges, I'm where I am today because of those challenges and critics... The more I face critics and accusations the more I commit myself to God my defender.

And as a servant of God I don't have a mouth to speak for myself, my mouth is ordained to speak for God and His promise is to speak for me. I leave all to God Almighty.

I wish you all can make this your principle you'll live a stress free life. And no matter how much people can fight to tarnish your good name, stay strong, refuse to loose your good name and goodness. No one can successfully bring a good man or a good woman down.

May God give you the inner grace to build a good name in Jesus Christ’s name. - Festus
