When life gives you storms, grab your clubs! ⛳ While my Big Apple dreams were momentarily grounded, I turned it into a birdie of a day on the fairway with Bentley. Just had an experience straight out of a wilderness survival guide! We found a rattlesnake lurking dangerously close to our pigpen, and just a stone's throw from where the kids usually play. The adrenaline is still pumping through our veins. It's a stark reminder that we share this land with all sorts of creatures. Stay safe everyone, and always keep an eye out for nature's unexpected visitors!

🌟 Quick update! Our superstar had a major surgery where the doc expertly reconnected a 🪙silver dollar-sized piece of her knee cap using 4⃣ screws, fixed her with a brand new MLFP ligament, and sewed her up all nice and neat! 🩹 We're so thankful for the skilled doctor and a smooth procedure. 🙏 Time to head home 🏠 and let our champ enjoy some well-deserved rest and recovery! 😌💤 the official name of the surgery is Left Knee medial patellofemoral ligament reconstruction with allograft gracilis, open reduction internal fixation of pateller osteochondral lesion, Left Osteochondral knee allograft.

Well, it's been a while since Christmas but we sure had a great Christmas Eve. We had our annual Christmas Eve Party with pin the nose on the snowman, an epic pinata, and some delicious Mexican food. The kids make cookies for Santa and little something extra for his reindeer. We finish our advent calendar and have a Christmas Pajama fashion show! What a night!

It's been a while since we have blogged because TBH we are emotionally exhausted. We feel like we are living week to week, doctors appt to doctors appt hoping to make a delivery plan. We sit in doctors visits hearing about how dangerous and potentially fatal Vasa Previa is, and then not hearing anything for another week. But we are surviving and looking forward to thriving here again very soon.

The long-awaited day finally arrives where Alli gets her 3rd UltraSound in a week to decide whether she is admitted to the hospital to prepare for delivery or sent home for another week!

What a wild ride this has been. What looked like was going to possibly be a routine doctor's visit turned into a surprise trip to the Phoenix Children's Hospital to look for possible Spina Bifida and then a new birth plan.

One of our FAVORITE times of the year is the Navajo County Fair and especially the Demolition Derby. This year was as awesome as always, and we even enjoyed some great fair food and a little carnival as well.

We are finally ready to declare that Luna will beat Parvo! She is still not 100% but much much much better! The kids all have a new way of doing Parent-Teacher Conferences and we talk about how we like this new way.

It's the day after we go to the Pet Hospital and since we couldn't afford to leave our puppy there we are doing our best to provide at-home care for our 9-month-old puppy that was diagnosed with Parvo.

Our third UltraSound gives us some potentially bad news. Alli has possible VASA PREVIA and if it's confirmed it will likely lead to an early C-Section Delivery and lots of important decisions.
