Info: In the year 2030, the Earth is invaded by an extra-terrestrial race who seek to improve the state of the planet. They rule with fear and violence. Those who disobey are incarcerated...but these are no ordinary prisons. For these inmates, the punishment is a life sentence...and a death sentence.

Bio: Kirsten is an Australian writer and producer living in the UK. She has worked in film production since the age of 18, and on Australian, Indian and British projects. In 2013 she received her Master of Arts in Scriptwriting from Bath Spa University and is currently working on her PhD thesis about gender disparity in the writing of scripted streaming television.

Statement: Don't Run, is a project that has been brewing in my mind for over five years. The horror of imprisonment with no end date, and the never-ending repetition of trauma was the catalyst for a story which ultimately culminates in the banding together of female characters, and the relationships they might develop with one another under these circumstances. Our 'aliens' are logical and clinical in their violence, making them immune to our human notions of mercy.
