Darn tootin’, it’s been a while!
Here we are, back at it with a look on the state of Feudoku in the wake of the last few updates. Over the next couple of posts, we’ll go through these changes followed by what we’re currently working on, and eventually what we’ve got planned for the future!
First, we’ve got to take a look at the past. There’s been some discreet, yet rather dramatic changes in the last few weeks. Let’s go through ‘em:
No more Pass - Yes, we removed the pass-button. This is one piece of the puzzle in our attempt to spice up the end game. Without the possibility of passing, we’re hoping for some more intense maneuvering, especially in the later stages of the game, where the one with the most passes left tended to have the upper hand.
Smarter matchmaking - New rules for the matchmaking, in an attempt to have a larger variety of opponents at all levels of skill and experience. Also ensures that you only match up with active opponents, which lets you get into the game faster.
The Home View - Mainly relates to new players, as this is the screen that greets them after registering. Instead of showing an empty screen where all active games would be, we wanted to make the experience a little bit friendlier.
And that’s it for now! Next week, we’ll get into some of the exciting stuff we’ve been working on lately, and a little peek at the next couple of features we’ve got planned.
Any thoughts on the changes we’ve made so far? Anything you’d like to see added to the game? Leave a comment and let us know!
Keep healthy and stay safe!
