A Biblical View of Homosexuality
Homosexuality is the most contentious issue facing western Christians today. A progressive view of sex often splits churches and families. But what is really at stake? Love is love, right? Can someone be a Christian and gay? What does God expect of those who are LGBTQ+? Is the word "homosexual" even in the Bible? In this lecture, we will look very closely at what the Bible really says about homosexuality. Open your heart and mind to the Word of God.

Even the most devout and sincere Christian believers can be ensnared by false ideas and bad habits that quietly and discreetly creep into our spiritual lives. If we're not careful, small doubts and little blind spots can become severe hindrances to our walk with God, or perhaps lead us astray entirely. Sometimes we get lazy about spiritual discipline. Sometimes we distrust wise leaders or friends. We can ignore our doubts for too long until they become unmanageable. We can be too dogmatic about our beliefs, or we can be too charitable to opposing viewpoints. We can question history or place too much confidence in science. Sometimes we choose emotion or image instead of righteousness. So we must be on guard and vigilant to strengthen our souls against even the slightest deterrence.
