we had such a great day out here last week, The sun was shining & it was just a nice place to explore!! Plenty of Parking and easy to find/ get to.

Belton Estate NT Belton House, a grand Grade I listed manor near Grantham in England, is a time capsule built in the late 1600s. Surrounded by lush gardens and majestic avenues leading to secret nooks, this place is a real-life fairytale setting! Oh, and let's not forget, it's a celebrity in its own right, hosting scenes from "Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story" and even doubling as Lady Catherine De Bourgh's posh pad in the classic "Pride & Prejudice" series. Talk about a star-studded mansion!

A Great day out, take a picnic and explore the extensive grounds, the ice cream is one of the best we have ever had 🤫, WE can’t wait to return !

Had a busy but quiet Saturday, joined slimming world so getting to grips with that, went shopping for stuff for our Hen & Stag in 3 weeks (eeeek excited!!) & looking after the parents dogs as they are away in their new toy (Travel adventures with the Richos is their page if you want to check it out!!) so no day trips, now enjoying watching the last of us (great series) and chilling in bed as got to be up early to take the eldest daughter to her footy match tomorrow, how’s everyone elses weekend been?

Well today turned into a scrub the house day and organise all the junk 😂😂🤣 on plus side we have more space now!!
Looking forward to a trip to IKEA tomorrow!
Sausage casserole in the slow cooker for dinner, have a really random craving for Super Noodles on toast 😂😂 I have no idea why as I haven’t had that in years! .

Belton House a few interesting facts
The 1995 BBC version of Pride and Prejudice had Belton House as its extravagant backdrop, setting the stage for Mr. Darcy's iconic proposal to Lizzie. Hosting even royalty like Queen Adelaide, Belton House has its own share of historical drama, with the 6th Lord Brownlow having a front-row seat during Edward VIII's abdication.

Fun fact Belton House where this pic was taken was actually featured in Pride & Prejudice **In the 1995 BBC TV version of Pride and Prejudice, it was the good fortune of Jennifer Ehle’s Lizzie to dine in the splendour of Belton House, which played Lady Catherine De Bourgh’s residence. As Mr Collins would attest, no greater honour can be bestowed than an invitation to dine at 'Rosings'. Belton also featured in the scenes leading up to Mr Darcy's first excruciating proposal to Lizzie.**
If only there was a Mr Darcy appearing out of the Lake when we visited hehe
