Devynne Charlton of the Bahamas and Josh Kerr of Great Britain set world indoor records in the women's 60-meter hurdles and the men's two mile, respectively, in the Millrose Games in New York City last Sunday. Other major meets were held in Lievin, France, and Torun, Poland, during a week in which Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce announced she would retire after the Olympic Games in Paris and Kelvin Kiptum and his coach, Gervais Hakizimana, were killed in a car accident.
