Harmonie We suck young blood. That of young artists and writers (you!) HARMONIE is an art magazine that is published twice a year. in Antwerp, Ghent and Amsterdam.

Each edition has a central artist, and artists/writers can send in text and images around this theme: the work of the artist. The magazine is distributed at different locations (bars, art galleries, bookshops...) A HARMONIE edition has 200 copies. HARMONIE wants to give young artists/writers the opportunity to publish their work and to reach a broad public. At the same time, HARMONIE wants to invi

te artists to make interesting, gripping work, within the limits of an A4-envelope, a small budget and a focus on a central artist. The work of the central artist is a starting point, so that the contributors are inspired to make work that doesn't have to be linked directly. HARMONIE searches, together with a designer, for the best form to present the contributions. That is why we choose for the following concept: the loose entries are joined in a brown A4-sized envelope, that is designed on the outside as a normal magazine (an art multiple). In this way, you can send in an object such as a handmade collage, an installation photograph, a dvd... and much more. More info: http://virtualharmonie.wordpress.com/

Een lege winkelruimte op de eerste verdieping van de Stadsfeestzaal doet gedurende drie dagen dienst als ARIA-boekenwinkel. In samenwerking met de Amsterdamse uitgeverij Valiz, en de Antwerpse boekhandel De Groene Waterman worden publicaties, kunstenaarsboeken en ander werk getoond en verkocht.

Who says choosing is losing, when you can have it all? Hop on your bike and have a HARMONIE day:

At 2.30 pm, go sip champagne, get artist-starstruck and buy the very first copies of HARMONIE #10 at the official opening of 'Mijn kleine paradijs' at [MIDDELHEIMMUSEUM].

Then, have a nice ride to Scheld'apen for lots of paper eye candy and beautiful printed goodies at the FABRIKAGE DIY market. We're there till 8 pm.
