Harmonie We suck young blood. That of young artists and writers (you!) HARMONIE is an art magazine that is published twice a year. in Antwerp, Ghent and Amsterdam.

Each edition has a central artist, and artists/writers can send in text and images around this theme: the work of the artist. The magazine is distributed at different locations (bars, art galleries, bookshops...) A HARMONIE edition has 200 copies. HARMONIE wants to give young artists/writers the opportunity to publish their work and to reach a broad public. At the same time, HARMONIE wants to invi

te artists to make interesting, gripping work, within the limits of an A4-envelope, a small budget and a focus on a central artist. The work of the central artist is a starting point, so that the contributors are inspired to make work that doesn't have to be linked directly. HARMONIE searches, together with a designer, for the best form to present the contributions. That is why we choose for the following concept: the loose entries are joined in a brown A4-sized envelope, that is designed on the outside as a normal magazine (an art multiple). Our Story

HARMONIE is an art magazine that is published since 2010. Each edition has a central artist, and artists/writers can send in text and images around this theme: the work of the artist. The magazine is distributed at different locations (bars, art galleries, bookshops...) in and around Antwerp. HARMONIE is made in limited copies, somewhere between 30 and 200 per edition. HARMONIE wants to give young artists/writers the opportunity to publish their work and to reach a broad public. At the same time, HARMONIE wants to invite artists to make interesting, gripping work, within the limits of an A4-envelope, a small budget and a focus on a central artist.
