আমার জামাই যে আমাকে ভালোবাসেনা এটা আমি আগেই সন্দেহ করেছিলাম। আমাকে পাত্তাই দেয়না।যতবার বুঝতে চেয়েছি ভালোবাসে কিনা ততবার এমন কিছু বলেছে যে দুঃখে কয়েকদিন কথা বলিনি। এতে তার কোনো মাথাব্যথাও দেখিনি।
গত পরশু আমি সাকিবকে বললাম,
- সাকিব মনে করো একটা নৌকায় আমি আর তোমার অফিসের বস। নৌকাটা ডুবে যাচ্ছে ।তুমি তাহলে আগে কাকে বাঁচাবে?
- কাউকেই না।
- মানেহ?
- প্রথমত আমি সাঁতার জানিনা আর দ্বিতীয়ত তুমি আমাকে রেখে আমার বসের সাথে নৌকায় কি করো ? তোমাদের মরে যাওয়াই উচিত।

কথাটা শুনে বিশাল হতাশ হয়ে গেলাম। আমি বুঝাতে চাইলাম বস আর আমার ভেতর কে বেশি প্রিয় আর কি বুঝলো। হতাশ হয়ে রুমে গিয়ে মুভি দেখা শুরু করলাম। রোমান্টিক মুভি। ফিফটি ফার্স্ট ডেটস। সাকিব খেয়ে ঘুমোতে চলে গেলো আর আমি একা একা মুভিটা দেখলাম ।মুভিটা দেখে একটা বুদ্ধি মাথায় এলো। এই মুভিতে নায়িকার কিছু মনে থাকেনা আর ছেলেটা প্রতিদিন তাকে মনে করায় আর এভাবে বিয়ে বাচ্চা সব হয়। আমি যদি স্মৃতি হারানোর নাটক করি তাহলে কেমন হবে ?

ছেলে মানুষ বিশাল খারাপ। কাউকে পেয়ে গেলে দাম থাকেনা। তাই এখন ভেবেছি একটা শিক্ষা দিবো। দূরে সরে গেলে তখন বুঝবে আমার মর্ম।

পরদিন সকালবেলা উঠে দেখি সাকিব নাই। যারে খেল দেখাবো সেই নাই। পরে মনে পড়লো আরেহ আজ তোহ শুক্রবার ।ও বাজারে হয়তোবা ।
ও বাজার থেকে আসবার পর আমি আমার নাটক শুরু করলাম।

- এই কে আপনি ? এখানে কি করেন ? কি চাই আপনার ?
- সাত সকালে কি শুরু করলা ? এই ধরো মাসের বাজার। আজকে ছোট মাছ রান্না করো।

বাজারের ব্যাগ হাতে নিয়ে ব্যাক্কল বনে গেলাম। পাত্তাই দিলোনা। না এভাবে হবেনা। আমি আবারো চেঁচানো শুরু করলাম ,

- কে রান্না করবে ? আরেহ কে আপনি ?আমি আপনাকে চিনি ?আমার কিছু মনে পড়ছে না কেনো ?

সাকিব এবার আমার দিকে সিরিয়াস হয়ে তাকালো। মনে হচ্ছে ও এবার চিন্তায় পড়ে গিয়েছে। হাহাহা এটাই তোহ চাচ্ছিলাম। এবার বুঝবে মজা কাকে বলে। সাকিব কিছুক্ষণ তাকিয়ে থেকে আমাকে বললো ,

- আরেহ তুমি তোহ কুলসুম। আমাদের বাসায় কাজ করো। আমার বউ বাপের বাড়ি গিয়েছে আর যাবার সময় তোহ বলে গেলো তোমাকে যে রান্না করতে হবে। আরেহ তোমার মনে নাই ?
