A father and his son's perspective of the 2024 Manila International Auto Show at the World Trade Center.
The latter's perspective is highlighted by brighter colors with more detail and clarity - kind of like what a kid would see. The framing also lacks stability and is shot in somewhat dynamic angles in a somewhat energetic way. But it's pretty obvious that the shooter is someone who just couldn't wait to move on to the next subject with the apparent camera shake, powered by ADHD and abound with energy.
The former's rendition is more rooted in fundamentals - leveled, stable, and more grounded. Colors are also less vivid and show its age - passing through vintage glass and rendering softer images. Significantly more time is taken to frame each shot, positioning, and repositioning until satisfactory. Slow, yes, but steady.
It's quite refreshing to be able to compare shots between people of different ages. But I guess the main takeaway here is having the time to spend some familial quality time in between, and sharing the same interest with one of your own. The next opportunity may take a while, though. But let's see.
