# # Beijing Beef Recipe
*Ingredients:*
- 1 lb beef (flank steak or sirloin), sliced thin
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, sliced
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 tsp sesame oil
- Bell peppers, onions (optional)
*Instructions:*
1. Coat beef with cornstarch, fry until crispy.
2. Mix sauce ingredients, add to pan with garlic, ginger.
3. Add beef, veggies (if using), and simmer until glazed.
