Ethereal Decibel Management is thrilled to welcome the incredibly talented Whrikk (Matthijs van der Geest) to our roster of artists! 🌍✨
With nearly 20 years of genre-defying live performances, Whrikk has carved a unique path through the underground trance scene, contemporary techno, and hardware-driven productions. Known for his raw, heavy, and mind-bending sets, he’s released music on iconic Psytrance labels such as Sanaton Records in Sweden, Tricky Grain in Copenhagen, and Moon Koradji in Ukraine, among others.
In recent years, Whrikk has expanded his horizons, delivering powerful and trippy techno sets at some of the world’s most cutting-edge events, including KØLT in Amsterdam, Mala Junta in Berlin, and the unforgettable India Boiler Room in Goa. His productions, featured on labels like Sacred Interface, Deestricted, and his own WHRK Records, continue to push the boundaries of electronic music.
Beyond his innovative trance and techno work, Whrikk (aka Matthijs) showcases his versatility through several other projects—ranging from brain-melting IDM and jungle as WHRK, to catchy synth-pop as Mathi, and even eclectic house and acid under the name Riffa.
