My kids love pasta and that's great because pasta dishes can be quick and easy to make. I've noticed that my kids prefer a tomato-based sauce over a (heavy) cream sauce. A bolognese or meatball spaghetti used to be my go-to. However, one day I forgot to get minced meat and sausage was the only thing I had that I could imagine as a replacement for minced meat.

During my second pregnancy, I gained a lot of weight, more than I ever expected. During the last months, I saw that I had gotten a bunch of stretch marks. After the birth in February 2021, I lost 20 kilos in the first month. However, the stretch marks were still there and very much visible. I realize that stretch marks are a part of pregnancy and some people even see them as a trophy. Unfortunately, I thought it was too much. I didn't mind having a couple, as I did after the first pregnancy. But now my whole stomach, hips, and thighs were full of stretch marks. I just didn't feel like myself anymore... So proud of this pandemic mommy.
1 year ago you became a first time mommy during the pandemic. You couldn't share all those wonderful moments during your pregnancy with your friends & family due to the restrictions. Everything had to be extra hard on you, the nausea during the pregnancy, the lonely OBGYN visits, having to be induced and so on. A year long, working from, being a full time mommy and juggling it all. And even so, you still flew overseas with .luna_with.love to visit me after I gave birth. Luna is so lucky to have you, , as a mommy and I'm so lucky to have you as my fam.
