As discussed this morning in my " Should I make a return to streaming?" test stream... I have remodeled my dusty old garage into an entertainment room for myself and my family. I completely outgrew my tiny studio that I worked so hard to create. I can say that I could not be happier with the results.
Purchasing a new cockpit to correct my previously horrible driving angles has helped me be way more consistent. Many other quality if immersion details also added. I just can't get enough of it!

I'm hoping to start streaming again within the next few days and look forward to starting this journey over again for all the followers that have not hit that unfollow button.

Multi-player on TitanFall 2 is back on Xbox! No more DDos! Jumped in BD and executed some Titans!
Played for hours yesterday with no major issues. Really made me realize how good that game actually is!

My son and I have thoroughly tested the new wheel and pedal setup. Small tweaks and adjustments still needed, but I believe I'm ready to go live with it later today.

So i did a thing.....

I may have to remove the "Reck-It" from my name if this bad boy doesn't help improve my racing!

First I want to give a thank you to my ol' trusty Logitech G920..... You did good my guy, but your lack of power and sensitivity was killing my road racing game. (But that doesn't stop it from being a great starter/budget setup)

Now introducing my new Direct Drive setup from Fanatec
The sales they are having on some of the bundles right now was a no Brainer. Picked up a wheel base, some load cell pedals, Porsche round wheel, and McLaren GT3 wheel.

I've only tested it, but wow what a difference. I hope to showcase it during my "I'm back" stream this weekend.
Can't wait to hang with you guys again!

Good morning everyone!

Let me start by apologizing for my extended unannounced absence from streaming.
(Truly sorry 😞)

Life came at me hard a couple months ago. I was finding it hard to juggle a full time 3rd shift job, a wonderful spouse that also works full time, 3 kids at home, and everything that comes with all that.

I was also feeling that content creation had become way over saturated, and platforms that offered no support didn't help as well.

I also was never the greatest at games most people wanted to watch (Warzone, Fortnite). I love Sim racing, but understandably.....most people do not.

After a few weeks the fire was burning inside me again. I honestly have missed the connections and friendships that I made being a content creator. It truly was nice chatting it up with you guys.

Sooooo.... I'm here to say that I'm coming back Reck Stars! This time I'm taking a more relaxed approach. I'm only going to go live a couple of times per week. I'm more than likely going to be doing Sim content more than anything (its my favorite genre, and I suck at shooters Lol). I am also going to try my hands at some more informative type videos (unboxing, how to) and such.

Sorry for the long read, but to those that stuck around to read it all......You are the reason I'm not giving up!

New schedule has been posted! I'm so excited to get back to the grind. It's been a trying few weeks here in the Reck-It house. Lot's of baseball, school events, and overall work and family stuff.

Didn't get to stream today because of Streamlabs shortcomings....They have notified me on how I can at least still do a livestream to one platform, but that will be tomorrow as I am tired for the day. I'm going to get some good rest today and put out some content tomorrow.
If SLOBS can't get their stuff figured out tomorrow, then I will have to resort to setting up an OBS studio account. Don't really want to go through all that, so my fingers are crossed....
