Little bit of a different post on here:
First of all I just wanna say thank you so much for 1,200 followers! Being able to do this for the past 2 almost 3 years has been insane and I still don’t plan on stopping any time soon. I know I haven’t been super active on here and I definitely could’ve communicated better with y’all what’s been going on. I went back to school for audio engineering and production (more details and announcements about that soon), I got Covid for the first time, tried to schedule a few PDX events for the summer but timing just never seemed to line up between my team/venues and bands, and recently picked up more hours at work. I honestly just really spent the past few months adjusting, mentally preparing and grinding behind the scenes to be able to take this to the next level after my birthday! ⚠️Speaking of which later this month I’m throwing a birthday party in PDX and everybody is invited (slide two 4 flyer) it’s not metal focused but it’s just as hard hitting and gnarly. If Juke, bassy jungle, freetek, hard techno, terrorcore and other experimental sounds from PDX locals seems like your thing come out and party with us all night long at Strangeland! This is the first event of many to come that focuses on multi genre alternative artists. Don’t worry though, this is still very much a metal label and will continue to be its main focus in the future. I’m just opening up its doors to other genres with really amazing inclusive projects and artists! Hails! We are immensely proud to announce the split between the illusive Winter Lantern () and the astral duo Starcave Nebula, titled “To Bring Darkness Upon The Heavens and the Earth”. This release carry’s the distinction of being Winter Lantern’s first release as a full band, introducing bassist Alcina Von Striga and drummer Verker Av Agathorn to further strengthen the power of frontwoman Carmilla II Dracul’s vampiric and grim atmosphere. From the Crypt to the Cosmos, the other half of the split features the raw and cacophonous edge of Starcave Nebula, the combination of an improvised sound with a bleak, unraveling mix gives their half of the release an avant-garde edge that isn’t very often heard in black metal overall. 40 tapes out of a run of 50 will be up for sale on the Cursed Oath bandcamp on May 28th! Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for a Winter Lantern shirt release as well, expect more details in the next few days!

Hey all, Chase here.

Dolor has been out on bandcamp for a few days now (Should be on streaming services in the next few days) and even with it being only being available there, the reaction towards the record was something I was not expecting at all. I want to thank all of you sincerely for taking the time to support Dolor. It took a bit of fighting, searching, and waiting to get the album out and it’s a relief to see that you all are enjoying it. I promise that physicals will come in time. Thanks again everybody :).

Cursed Oath Records is closing 2021 and kicking off 2022 with a new tape release! We’ve been given the opportunity to work with the amazing .nc to put out their August 2021 EP release “Beastlore” on tape! Beastlore is about mythical beasts and cryptids written and performed by a pair of traveling frog humanoid troubadours. Almost 30 minutes of straight well crafted fantasy black metal! As always our tapes are dubbed at home and hand stamped. Fifteen out of a production run of 25 of these mesmerizing gold tapes will be up for sale on our bandcamp page on December 31st, shipping will begin 1-2 weeks after your order has been placed!

Hails! The mighty warriors of .nc , Froglin and Gorf Drakolisk will be releasing a brand new single “The Invocation of Lucifuge Rofocal” on the earliest hour of Sunday, October 24th PST. Now, a few words from the artist themselves: “The Grand Grimoire: This forbidden manuscript contains the powerful words required to summon Lucifuge Rofocale and have him do your biding.” This will be their first official release with Cursed Oath Records! The track will be available on bandcamp so check out our link in bio and their previous releases Moral Presence, Corrupt Misdeeds and Beastlore if you haven’t already in the meantime.

Update time! We signed a new band! Please welcome to the Cursed Oath Crew, Snogard. A 2 man black metal project from NC, with lyrical themes that are fantastical and story driven. They’re whimsical , fast, brutal, and ready to make your ears bleed! We will be releasing an exclusive Cursed Oath Records single on bandcamp in the near future so keep an eye out for that, in the meantime, check out their previously released material on bandcamp, including their most recent release, Beastlore.

Release announcement: I’m so excited to be able to announce our 3rd release and 2nd release from the ever mysterious Carmilla Dracul. The amazing minds of and Possession Cult have come together to create a split that only the most devoted and elite can handle! It will be released on bandcamp September 1st at midnight PST digitally as well as on a bone white tape, hand stamped and dubbed by yours truly Lex and Chase! There will be 35 out of a production of 50 available for sale through cursed Oath Records and the rest will be available through Winter Lantern at a later date. So set reminders and mark your calendars to make sure you get yourself a copy!
