Making a difference, one mural at a time🎨

The new series of artworks painted throughout town are impossible to miss and hard to remember what those blank walls were like before.

Culminating creativity, vibrancy, youth engagement, inspiration, pride and marking a moment in time is no easy feat, but Cally Bugg from Artopia Gallery has managed to wrangle exactly that.

With support from Kununurra Waringarri Aboriginal Corporation and Shire of Wyndham East Kimberley, its fantastic to see this vision come to life!

Shout out to Tim Lanzon, Marty McLelland and Sarah Duguid for photos

🚚 Orange Sky has arrived in Kununurra! 🚚

Job Pathways is excited to announce that we've partnered with Orange Sky Australia to bring the free mobile laundry service to the Kununurra community. Kicking off next week, the truck will be available for all to use in various locations around Kununurra.

Not only will the laundry truck offer locals a safe space to connect and do their washing for free; it will also provide employment opportunities for locals to become part of the team and operate the laundry service.

Established in Brisbane in 2014, Orange Sky is the world’s first free mobile laundry and shower service, now operating in 38 locations across Australia and 4 in New Zealand. The organisation's mission is to create a safe, positive and supportive environment, positively connecting people through clean clothes, warm showers and conversation via their iconic, mobile orange trucks.

Of all the adventures you can have in the East Kimberley during the wet, a hike into Piccaninny Gorge in Purnululu National Park isn’t always on everyone’s list, but after seeing Gary Annett Photography stunning images, we think it should be!

Gary braved the elements and spent the past wet season care-taking in Purnululu N.P. He generously shared his story with us before anyone else and we were blown away but his incredible images and rugged adventures.

Armed with her dad’s Pentax film camera he bought in the 80’s, Annie Montgomery moved west from Victoria four years ago, and wound up in the East Kimberley in 2023.

Since then, she has been working on stations and in contract mustering camps, while snapping some amazing shots that capture the unique lifestyle of life working on the land.

Annie has just moved into ‘town’ but is continuing her photography. We caught up with her to hear her story, which you can read all about in our latest edition.

Make sure to check out her Instagram to see her work📸
