Hot off his recent heavenly melodic set for our January gig has another stunning set for us - this time for February’s edition of Cumulus Sounds 😍🎶

Encapsulating an inspirational and sophisticated catalogue of music on Lane 8’s This Never Happened, Teamwork Records, Colorize, Sekora and more, Melbourne’s LJ MASE is putting Australian producers on the map in dynamic fashion. Delivering a melodic house pulse to enthusiasts, his sharp yet aqueous and emotive take on electronic music has become incredibly celebrated, keeping dance floors on their toes and top-tier playlists bubbling over.

2023 saw LJ MASE concrete a prodigious single in ‘Take Our Time’ featuring Tailor on This Never Happened, stamping the mark of approval from label head and universal tastemaker Lane 8. Just prior, ‘Reve’ featuring Julia Temos dropped on Spectrum Records amassing over 200,000 Spotify streams alone upon its inception, while adding an accumulated string of catalogue playlist adds on the likes of Chill Tracks, Just Chill and Deep House Relax, expanding his audience across the world. Alongside the abundance of originals LJ MASE has signed, his remix duties have proven a stellar affair with his edit of DJ Matrick’s ‘Yours’, released on global hero MaRLo’s label Reaching Altitude.

With over 70,000 monthly listeners, upwards of 10 million streams across his refined musical resume and support from the likes of electronic heavy-hitters Sultan & Shepard, LJ MASE has ensured the melodic house realm is well defined. Floating Dreams and Tokumike Entertainment team up with Brunswick City Radio to bring Shingo Nakamura [Monstercat Silk / Anjunadeep/ Otographic] to Howler Melbourne for the first time.

Saturday April 19th - Howler Garden Bar - 4pm - 1am

Shingo Nakamura is a Tokyo-based producer and DJ. Hailing from Ibaraki (Japan), Shingo is especially known for a progressive house style that blends deep and lyrical sounds with classical piano. Growing his footprint beyond a dedicated fan base in Asia, he has performed sold-out shows at regarded venues in the US, including San Francisco’s beloved Audio SF and New York’s National Underground. Shingo’s debut album, ‘Sapporo’ (Monstercat Silk), reached #1 on Beatport’s Progressive House Chart, followed by his second album, ‘Days’ (Otographic Music) which reached the top of Beatport’s Progressive House and Trance Charts. DOUBLE TOUCH [All Day I Dream, Soundgarden]

Sunday, 26th January - Howler Theatre – 6pm 1am.

Double Touch is a live electronic duo collaboration between Sydney/Los Angeles based Classical Pianist/Composer Van-Anh Nguyen and DJ/Drummer/Producer Mark Olsen. Despite their distinct individual careers, they blend their two worlds together to form a unique mix of acoustic melodies, percussion and electronic sounds.

Double Touch are official All Day I Dream Artists with multiple releases and performances at All Day I Dream events globally. Their shows are a unique blend of a traditional DJ set and live performance, adding live keys and drums, improvising and creating new directions in their music during their live sets. The synergy and connection between the two results in a unique experience for listeners and concert goers alike.

Double Touch have performed globally with highlights including Brooklyn Mirage (New York, USA), Scorpios (Mykonos, Greece, Bodrum, Turkey), Cova Santa & Playa Soleil (Ibiza, Spain), All Day I Dream Festival (California, USA), Return to Rio Festival (Australia), Cercle (Omnia, Indonesia), Golden Gate Park (San Francisco, USA), Cloud 9 (Fiji), Omnia Bali (Indonesia), and Café del Mar (Phuket) to name a few.
