Our guest on Cumulus Sounds this month is Leah Marie — a DJ and producer whose rise over the past few years has been a joy to follow and is real testament to her drive, passion, and love for the music 🫶🎵

Leah Marie (Late Night Music/ Kontrast) is a DJ and producer hailing from Melbourne, Australia, currently calling Berlin home. In the past few years, Leah has become a prominent figure in the deep, progressive & melodic house landscape. Her signature style focuses on all things groove within the deeper genres of underground house and techno. She weaves progressive and melodic tones with rolling basslines, deep pulsating grooves, often infused with tribal and organic elements in order to entrance the dancefloor with the journey she creates.

Having captivated audiences at some of Melbourne and Berlin’s most renowned underground clubs, festivals and iconic venues; Leah’s talent has also taken her to international stages across Germany, Portugal, the Netherlands and the UK. A few of her highlights from recent times include playing at Sisyphos, Zurück den Wurzeln Festival (DE), Kulturkosmos, Wilde Möhre Festival [DE], Funkloch Festival [DE], Esoteric Festival (AUS), The Steel Yard (UK) and Amsterdam Dance Event. She has also joined lineups for renowned record label showcases in Berlin with 3000 Grad, Deep Tales and YOMO Records. In 2025, Leah launched the Kontrast event series alongside co-founders Dilby and Dowden.

She’s shared stages with esteemed artists - Guy J, Marsh, Jody Wisternoff, Simon Doty, Super Flu, Cristoph, Denney and Yotto, to name a few. Leah has released remixes and original tracks on labels Late Night Music, YOMO Records, Massive Harmony and Musique de Lune. Stay tuned for more upcoming releases.

After blowing Melbourne audiences away earlier this year, we knew we had to bring them back — and this time, they’re taking centre stage with a live set.

Their releases across European labels establish them in the global electronic music scene. Even the sh*tty cold weather in Melbourne couldn’t dampen the vibes last night at ❄️🔥

We had an absolute blast playing support for Oliver Smith — such a privilege to be on the lineup with someone who’s such a big name in the Anjuna scene.

Nat and Laik mixed things up with a bit of live guitar for the first time too 🎸— really fun to bring something different into the set!

Massive thanks to everyone who braved the cold and brought the warmth inside. You lot made it a night to remember 🙌

From the vinyl decks of his teenage bedroom to dancefloors across Australia and Brazil, journey has always been driven by a pure passion for music.

Beginning his craft as a teenager under the guidance of Will E Tell with Wetmusik, he mastered the art of vinyl mixing, inspired by a deep love for trance — a sound that continues to shape his sets today.

Renowned for his eclectic taste and seamless genre-blending, DJ Benji takes audiences on immersive journeys through melodic house, progressive, deep grooves, and beyond. His talent has seen him share the stage with internationally acclaimed artists including Kyau & Albert, Dosem, Nils Hoffmann, Luttrell, and Jerro to name a few, bringing his own unique energy to every performance.

He has featured at standout events such as Tiny Hands, Beats and Bites, and Transient Music, and is a co-host of Horizons — a monthly radio show streamed in France alongside two mates, showcasing sounds to a global audience.

A guy who is all heart, no ego, he never fails to light up dance floors with his energy and good vibes.

It was a real pleasure to have him spin a mix for us this month on Cumulus Sounds! 🔥💙☁️
