বায়েজিদ বোস্তামি।

Bangladesh, a nation with a 90% Muslim population, ironically witnesses Muslims being subjected to severe criticism. In this diverse society, individuals of various faiths and ideologies enjoy the freedom to practice their beliefs. Paradoxically, a significant number of people take pleasure in ridiculing Muslims and Islam. This tendency is particularly prevalent among self-proclaimed intellectuals and atheist bloggers who perceive it advantageous to target Islam due to its sensitive nature.
Recently, the cricketer Tanzim found himself at the center of controversy, facing rebuke, mockery, disdain, and even threats for expressing his views on social media, which were posted a year ago. My intention is not to endorse or oppose any specific ideas concerning aspects of our lives, but rather to advocate for his freedom of speech.
Those who label him as a terrorist, brand him as anti-Islam, or call for his removal from the National team lack substantive arguments to support their claims. Instead of seeking harm for Tanzim, they should engage in constructive dialogue and present counterarguments if they have any. These individuals are akin to toothless tigers, making noise without substance.
Tanzim Sakib has the right to freedom of speech and freedom of religion. If he deems it necessary to express his thoughts on certain matters, he has the liberty to do so. His expression of opinions doesn't imply that he is compelling anyone to follow his views. Let's cease the verbal battle against him and permit this young man to focus on his cricket. He is a talented cricketer with the potential to contribute to Bangladesh cricket for numerous years to come.

বাংলাদেশের জাতীয় কবি,বিদ্রোহী কবি ও বাংলা সাহিত্যের প্রাণপুরুষ কাজী নজরুলের স্মৃতি বিজড়িত আটচালা ঘর।

চুয়াডাঙ্গার কার্পাসডাঙ্গায় কবি নজরুলের স্মৃতি নিয়ে আজও দাঁড়িয়ে আছে আটচালা ঘর!

তৎকালীন দামুড়হুদা উপজেলার ভৈরব নদের তীরবর্তী কার্পাসডাঙ্গা মিশনপাড়ার সরকার পরিবার ছিলো জ্ঞান-গরিমায় বেশ সম্ভ্রান্ত। এই পরিবারের সন্তান শ্রী মহিম সরকার চাকরির সুবাদে থাকতেন কোলকাতায়। কোলকতা আমহার্স্ট স্ট্রিটে তিনি সপরিবারে বসবাস করতেন। মহিম সরকারের সাথে কবি কাজী নজরুল ইসলামের খুবই সখ্যতা ছিলো। তার বাড়িতে কবির আসা-যাওয়া ছিলো আপনজনের মতো। তার দুই মেয়ে আভা রাণী সরকার ও শিউলী রাণী সরকার নজরুল গীতি চর্চা করতেন। তাদের গানের তালিম দিতেন কবি কাজী নজরুল ইসলাম নিজে। পরবর্তীতে আভা রাণী সরকারের গানের রেকর্ডও বের হয়। প্রখ্যাত লেখক ড. আশরাফ সিদ্দিকী অনুসন্ধান করে নজরুলের কথা ও সুরে আভা রাণী সরকারের ছয়টি গানের রেকর্ড-তথ্য পান। একাধিক তথ্যসূত্রে জানা যায়, মহিম সরকারের পারিবারিক আমন্ত্রণে একাধিকবার কবি নজরুল কার্পাসডাঙ্গায় এসেছেন। তবে ১৯২৬ সালে ২৭ বছর বয়সে কবি সপরিবারে এখানে বেড়াতে আসেন। এ সময় প্রায় দুই মাস কার্পাসডাঙ্গায় অবস্থান করেন । তার সাথে এসেছিলেন শাশুড়ি গিরিবালা, স্ত্রী প্রমীলা ও বড় ছেলে বুলবুল। তারা কোলকাতা থেকে ট্রেনযোগে দর্শনায় নেমে ৬ মাইল গরুর গাড়িতে করে কার্পাসডাঙ্গায় আসেন। কার্পাসডাঙ্গা মিশনপাড়ার প্রয়াত শ্রী দ্বারিক নাথ ওরফে তেরেন সরকারের ভাষ্যমতে কবি কোলকাতা এবং কৃষ্ণনগর থেকে কয়েকবার কার্পাসডাঙ্গায় আসেন। কার্পাসডাঙ্গার বিপিন সরকার জানিয়েছেন, কবির সাথে বসে তাস খেলেছেন তিনি। পারিবারিক আমন্ত্রণে কবি নজরুলের কার্পাসডাঙ্গায় আগমন ঘটলেও স্বদেশি আন্দোলন বেগবান করার জন্য অনেক নেতাকর্মীর সঙ্গে গোপন বৈঠকও তিনি করেছিলেন বলে সে সময়কার অনেকেই মৃত্যুর আগে জানিয়ে গেছেন। তাদের মধ্যে দ্বারিক নাথ ওরফে তরেন বাবু অন্যতম। তার ভাষ্যমতে কার্পাসডাঙ্গা মিশন চত্বরে কয়েকটি ঝাউগাছ ছিলো। সেই গাছে একদিন একটি বিষধর সাপ দেখতে পান দ্বারিক। সাপটিকে মেরে ফেলেন তিনি। পরে কবি বিষয়টি জানতে পেরে ক্ষুব্ধ হন। এ কারণেই কবি নজরুল কার্পাসডাঙ্গায় রচনা করেন পদ্মগোখরা। কার্পাসডাঙ্গা ইউনিয়ন পরিষদের সাবেক চেয়ারম্যান মরহুম নসকর আলী ১৯৮৭ সালে কোলকাতায় গিয়েছিলেন। তখন জীবিত ছিলেন কার্পাসডাঙ্গার মহিম বিশ্বাসের মেয়ে আভা রাণী সরকার ও শিউলী রাণী সরকার। তাদের দুজনের সাথে কথা বলেন নসকর আলী। আভা রাণী ও শিউলী রাণী নিশ্চিত করেন নজরুল কয়েকবার কার্পাসডাঙ্গায় গিয়েছেন। কাজী নজরুল ইসলাম কার্পাসডাঙ্গার পার্শ্ববর্তী কুড়ুলগাছির গাঙ্গুলী ও মজুমদার বাড়িতেও কয়েকবার এসেছেন বলেও জানা যায়। কার্পাসডাঙ্গার পার্শ্ববর্তী কোমরপুর গ্রামের কৃতী লেখক ছিলেন এম ইব্রাহিম। তিনিই নজরুলকে কার্পাসডাঙ্গায় প্রথম কাগজে-কলমে তুলে ধরেন। তার লেখা নজরুল ও নিশ্চিন্তপুর গ্রন্থে নজরুলকে নিয়ে বিস্তারিত তুলে ধরেছেন। এই গ্রন্থটি ১৯৯০ সালে প্রকাশ করেন এম ইব্রাহিম। যা আগে চুয়াডাঙ্গা থেকে প্রকাশিত সাপ্তাহিক দর্পণ পত্রিকায় ধারাবাহিকভাবে প্রকাশিত হয়। নজরুল ও নিশ্চিন্তপুর গ্রন্থে লেখা আছে, ‘নিশ্চিন্তপুর কার্পাসডাঙ্গার পূর্বপাড়ার নাম। নিকট অতীতে এখানে ছিলো নীল কুঠি, জমিদারি কোম্পানির সদর দফতর, পরে মেদিনীপুর জমিদারি কোম্পানির সদর দফতর। কার্পাসডাঙ্গা বাজারের পূর্ব পাশে প্রায় দেড়শ একর জমি ঘিরে বাঘাডাঙ্গা গ্রামের পশ্চিম দিকে নায়েব বাড়ি পর্যন্ত এলাকা নিশ্চিন্তপুর নামে পরিচিত ছিলো। কার্পাসডাঙ্গার ঐতিহাসিক এবং ঐতিহ্যবাহী এলাকা নিশ্চিন্তপুরের কোনো চিহ্ন নেই আর। খাতা-কলমেও প্রায় অবলুপ্ত। সর্বশেষ কার্পাসডাঙ্গার ডাকঘরটির নাম ছিলো নিশ্চিন্তপুর কিন্তু তাও এখন হয়ে গেছে কার্পাসডাঙ্গা।’

কবি কাজী নজরুল ইসলাম কার্পাসডাঙ্গায় অবস্থানকালে একটি আটচালা ঘরে তার থাকার জায়গা হয়। যে খাটে তিনি ঘুমোতেন, যে আলমারিটা তিনি ব্যবহার করতেন তা আজও অক্ষত অবস্থায় আছে। কবির গুরুত্ব অনুভব করে তার স্মৃতি লালন করে আসছেন বংশ পরম্পরায় প্রকৃতি বিশ্বাস। কবি কাজী নজরুল ইসলাম এখানে মহিম সরকারের আমন্ত্রণে আসার পর এখানকার কংগ্রেস নেতা শিক্ষক হর্ষপ্রিয় বিশ্বাসের সাথে ভাব জমে তার। হর্ষপ্রিয় বিশ্বাস ছিলেন বর্তমান ভারতের শিমুলিয়া মাধ্যমিক বিদ্যালয়ের প্রধান শিক্ষক। ফলে শিক্ষিত মানুষ হিসেবে হর্ষপ্রিয় বিশ্বাসের সঙ্গে কবির বেশ খাতির জমে ওঠে। সেই সুবাদে আটচালা ঘরেই কবির থাকার জায়গা হয়।

কবি যতবার এসেছেন এই ঘরেই থাকতে বেশি স্বাচ্ছন্দবোধ করতেন। আটচালা ঘরটি প্রথমত হর্ষপ্রিয় বিশ্বাসের উদ্যোগেই সংরক্ষণ করে রাখা হয়। পরবর্তীতে হর্ষপ্রিয় বিশ্বাসের ছেলে বাবু প্রদ্যুত বিশ্বাস বাবার ভূমিকা পালন করে যান। বর্তমানে কবির স্মৃতি বিজড়িত আটচালা ঘরটি সংরক্ষণ করে রেখেছেন হর্ষপ্রিয় বিশ্বাসের দৌহিত্র প্রকৃতি বিশ্বাস। ৯০ বছর ধরে বিশ্বাস পরিবার নিজ খরচে খড়ের ঘরটি সংরক্ষণ করে আসছে। কবি নজরুল কার্পাসডাঙ্গায় জাতীয়ভাবে স্বীকৃতি পেয়েছেন। তার পেছনে এই বিশ্বাস পরিবারের অবদান একেবারে খাটো করে দেখা যায় না। ইদানীং চুয়াডাঙ্গা জেলায় মাটির ঘর নেই বললেই চলে।

যে কারণে কেউ খড়ের আবাদও করে না। কিন্তু এই বিশ্বাস পরিবারের সন্তান প্রকৃতি বিশ্বাস অনেক খুঁজে খড় জোগাড় করে প্রতি বছর ঘরটি ছেয়ে রাখেন। এ জন্য তার যেমন ভোগান্তি তেমনি খরচও একেবারে কম হয় না। আটচালা ঘরটি সংরক্ষণ ও দেখভালের জন্য একজন কেয়ারটেকার রাখার প্রয়োজন। প্রয়োজন ঘরটি স্থায়ীভাবে প্রশাসনের হস্তগত করা। এ কারণে প্রকৃতি বিশ্বাস যাতে না ঠকেন সেটিও জেলা প্রশাসন খতিয়ে দেখে ব্যবস্থা নেবে বলে ভুক্তভোগীরা মনে করেন। এই ঘরটির পাশেই চুয়াডাঙ্গা জেলা প্রশাসনের সহযোগিতায় দামুড়হুদা উপজেলা প্রশাসন ২০১৫ সালের ডিসেম্বরে নজরুলের স্মৃতি ফলক নির্মাণ করেছে। একনজরেই যাতে নজরুলের কার্পাসডাঙ্গায় আগমনের বিষয়টি স্পষ্ট হতে পারেন পর্যটক-দর্শনার্থীরা। আর প্রতি নিয়তই মুজিবনগরগামী পর্যটকরা এখানে স্মৃতি বিজড়িত ঘরটি দেখতে আজও ভিড় করেন।

খুব বেশি দিনের কথা নয় যে মানুষ জানতে পেরেছে মহাবিশ্বের সূচনা এক মহাবিস্ফোরণের মধ্য দিয়ে ঘটেছে। আইনস্টাইনের ক্ষেত্র সমীকরণ থেকে ফ্রিদমান সমীকরণ। তার পর বিশ্বতত্ত্ব নীতি এবং হোবল নীতি। সর্বশেষ ১৯৬০ সালে মহাজাগতিক অণুতরঙ্গের চড়াই-উতরাই পেরিয়ে বিজ্ঞান যখন ক্লান্ত, তখন দেখা গেল আজ থেকে প্রায় এক হাজার ৫০০ বছর আগেই বিশ্বস্রষ্টা তাঁর মহাগ্রন্থ আল-কোরআনে এ ব্যাপারে স্পষ্ট জানিয়ে দিয়েছেন। ‘অবিশ্বাসীরা কি দেখে না যে সপ্তাকাশ ও পৃথিবী পুঞ্জীভূত হয়ে ছিল। অতঃপর আমি উভয়টি এক মহাবিস্ফোরণের মাধ্যমে সূচনা করেছি।’ (সুরা : আম্বিয়া, আয়াত : ৩০)!!
