An umbrella represents SHELTER. Having a child with complex needs I am his shelter to protect him from things that he has no control of. I am his shelter to protect him from bullies, people who are mean and and do not understand what it means to be different.

Good morning Everyone.
Yesterday I attended a Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND) hub for carers.
I wanted to be around like minded people who understands people who understands what we go through on a daily basis.
One thing I learned is all the parents were grieving for the child that we thought they would be. Regarless of this we love them very much. We feel overwhelmed, sad, angry and happy at the same time.
I left feeling and accepted. I left knowing that there is support out there for parent carers and our children.
I know every country is different but you can find like minded parents like you that you can reach out to.
Thank you to all our followers who have supported us throughout the years.

I have being told many times to put my son in a home. This annoys me so much that I had to stop speaking to these people.
I say to them it will never happen because he was given to me. Some say it will make my life easy. I say to them he will be my forever baby and that there baby will grow up and move out but mine will stay with me. People perception of special needs is rediculous. My son may God give me long life to love and care for you. When I depart this world you will know that I loved and did my best for you. I know that your siblings will do the same because hey cherish you so much. YOU WILL OUR FOREVER BABY. WE LOVE YOU JORDAN.

Good morning Everyone. My Easter holiday is finally over and I am returning to school. I had lots of fun in the holidays with my mum and family. I love her so much because she cares for me and do lots of activities with me.
I am happy to be back at school because I will see my classmates and see my teachers who looks after me everyday. I know that at the end of the day I will return to my mum and siblings at home. My favourite is she always prepares a delicious meal for me when so return.

Good morning. Look at me I am growing up. I say this with a pinch of salt. Many will say he is a big boy but deep down he will be my forever baby. Why? He uses nappies. I have to feed him because he is unable to. I have to play with him and entertain him. He can’t walk so he uses a specialist buggy to get around.
Even though he is different from many kids he is loved cherished and we are happy to have him.

Today we decided to venture out of our area to visit another park. Up on arriving I was smiling from ear to ear. Guys I saw a swing that my son can use and of course I had to get him to use it. Inclusion matters.
