Faculty of Earth Technology and Energy Trisakti University was established in 1980 which has graduated capable alumni who have important roles in oil and gas, CBM, geothermal and minerals mining sectors.

Located in Jakarta a metropolitan city as well as a business centre and commerce district, Faculty of Earth Technology and Energy Trisakti University is equipped with adequate facilities and infrastructures and supervised by qualified and competent lecturers from a diverse background of either technical or non-technical, academics and researchers is . The Faculty of Earth & Energy Technology, Trisakti University, is able to produce graduates whom are ready to build the nation, either in oil and gas or non-oil and gas.

Currently, the Faculty of Earth & Energy Technology Trisakti University has four departments. Which are:
1. Petroleum Engineering Department,
2. Geological Engineering Department
3. Mining Engineering Department
4. Master’s Program of Petroleum Engineering Department.
