Actress and Footballer have ignited rumors of being in a romantic relationship.

The rumour stemmed from the posts they shared on Instagram and the caption it came with.

Lilian Esoro had shared a photo in which she talked about her boo. She wrote; “Candid moments are the best! The boo gets me always!”

Jude Ighalo who arrived the country few days ago after a successful season at his football club in United Arab Emirate, also shared a photo on Instagram which had a table that matched that in the photo Lilian shared.

The footballer's post came with the caption; “When God says it’s your time, no one can stop it”

The post was also liked by Lilian Esoro who finalized her divorce from businessman Ubi Franklin in February 2021.


Jude Ighalo's wife, Adesuwa Sonia has since reacted to rumour of the footballer being in a romantic relationship with Lilian Esoro.

Reacting to this via an Instastory post, Adesuwa told Instagram users to stop tagging her to rubbish.

: Nigerians on twitter react to the request to submit their phone IMEI numbers to the Ministry of Communications by July 2021.

Recall that the ministry in question is led by the embattled Minister of Communications, Isa Pantami who was recently implicated as an Islamic extremist and jihadist in a report compiled by the renowned investigative journalist with lots of video and audio evidence where he expressed extremist jihadist views.

The regime backed the embattled Minister and said they would not fire him even after , including some National assembly members made a massive call that he be removed from the sensitive position in the cabinet.

Nigerians to submit phone IDs in three months, says NCC
The Nigerian Communications Commission has said Nigerians will have to submit the International Mobile Equipment Identity of their phones to it from July.

According to NCC, the aim is “to curtail the counterfeit mobile phone market, discourage mobile phone theft, enhance National Security, protect consumer interest, increase revenue generation for the government, reduce the rate of kidnapping, mitigate the use of stolen phones for crime, and facilitate blocking or tracing of stolen mobile phones and other smart devices, one of the means to achieve this is through the deployment of Device Management System.”

With this move, the NCC will have the IMEI numbers, NIN, and mobile numbers of every Nigerian.

4th wife stabs husband to death for impregnating another woman.

Woman arrested for allegedly stabbing her husband to death in Ogun State.

A 47-year-old-woman, Olanshile Nasirudeen, pictured above, has been apprehended by men of Ogun state police command, for allegedly stabbing her 51 yrs old husband to death. 

A statement by DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, spokesperson of the state police command, says the suspect was arrested, following a distress call received by the Dpo Obalende divisional headquarters, ijebu ode, that the suspect who is a co- butcher with the deceased, sighted a woman who her husband recently impregnated at the abattoir, and she started questioning the woman about her audacity to get pregnant for her husband. 

''This led to a hot argument between her and the deceased, as a result of which the suspect picked a knife, and stabbed the deceased at the back joint of his left leg, thereby, cutting one of his veins. He was quickly rushed to a nearby hospital for first aid, and later transferred to Ijebu ode General hospital where he eventually gave up the ghost while receiving treatment, due to excessive bleeding. 

Upon the distress call, the Dpo Obalende division, SP Murphy Salami, led his men to the scene, but the suspect has took to flight before their arrival. She was subsequently traced, and was  eventually arrested in her hideout at Mobalufon area of Ijebu ode. 

On interrogation, the suspect,  who happened to be the fourth wife of the deceased, claimed that it was her husband who first slapped her simply because she asked his new wife her mission at her market stand. ''the statement in part read

Oyeyemi added that the co**se of the deceased had been released to the family for burial in accordance with Islamic rights after the autopsy has been conducted on it.

The police spokesperson said the commissioner of police, CP Edward Awolowo Ajogun, has ordered the immediate transfer of the suspect to homicide section of the state criminal investigation and intelligence department, for discreet investigation and prosecution.

Mexican 'serial killer and cannibal', Andrés Mendoza, 72, arrested for 'murdering and dismembering 9 women including his girlfriend'

Mendoza was arrested after police discovered the remains of his 34-year-old missing girlfriend and at least eight other women at his home.
 
The Attorney General’s Office for the State of Mexico disclosed that the eight other women may have been murdered by Andrés Mendoza, 72, during a 20-year stretch.
 
Imagen Television reported that Mendoza who videotaped the killings of his victims confessed to have eaten their body parts.
 
Police in the town of Atizapan were conducting a search for Reyna González, a mother of two girls, when they found her dismembered body inside Mendoza’s on Saturday, May 15. 
 
The mother of two was reported missing last Friday after she went to Mendoza’s home at noon to tell him that she was going to end their relationship. 
 
Mendoza did not agree with González’s ending their relationship and reportedly stabbed her inside his home.
 
According to Infobae, Mendoza drove the knife into González’s chest and then used a machete to cut her limbs off before stuffing her body parts into a bag.
 
Authorities entered Mendoza’s home Saturday at approximately 8pm and searched the home before they made the gruesome discovery.
 
The bags containing González’s body had been placed on top of a table. 
 
Authorities did not confirm whether Mendoza had ate any of González’s body parts after killing her. 
 
During the search, sniffer dogs led a search team to an area of the home where the remains of other women were discovered.
 
Workers also found women's clothing and shoes which allegedly belonged to the victims who were butchered by Mendoza. He also peeled the skins off the women's faces and their scalps, authorities said. 
 
Authorities also seized a collection of videotapes that reportedly contained the names of several women with footage of their killings and a notebook with the names of 29 women.
 
Investigators also found voter identification cards of Rubicela Castillo, 32, who was reported missing July 20, 2019, and Flor Vizcaino, 38, who was last seen October 16.

We’ll repel further attacks by Army on South-East - Igboho

Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo popularly known as Sunday Igboho has said that he and his group will repel any attack by the Nigerian army in the South-East region of the country. 
 
The Nation reported that Igboho in the statement released by his media aide Olayomi Koiki, stated that any attack against Biafra should be considered an attack against the Yorubas. He also called for an end to raids carried out in South-East. 
 
Igboho said; 
 

“We would like to inform the Federal Government of Nigeria that any attack on the South-East is an attack on the Yorubas.
“Biafra people have been targeted by the Nigeria Army and if there are any further attacks on them, we would have no other option but to support our brothers and sisters in Biafraland.”

Heartbreaking: Nigerian woman and her 16-year-old daughter brutally murdered by male flatmate after botched r**e attempt


Nkechinyere Nnaama,49, and her 16-year-old daughter Ifunanya, were allegedly murdered on March 30, 2021

According to Facebook user, Amaka Okeagu, the mother came back home from school and found the young man she shared her flat with, attempting to r**e her daughter.

When Nkechi raised an alarm, the suspect grabbed a hammer and hit her on the head before turning to Ifunanya. He ran away after the incident.

It was gathered that the suspect was later arrested and allegedly confessed to the crime.

Nkechinyere died on the way to the hospital while her daughter passed away a day later, March 31.

Mother and daughter will be laid to rest on Friday, June 4, 2021, in their hometown, Umuonaga village Awka South Local Government Area of Anambra State. 💔

Suspected Yahoo boy, Friday Billions, declared wanted for allegedly defiling 6-year-old girl in Delta

Human rights activist, Comrade Israel Joe, who disclosed this on Tuesday, May 18, said the incident happened in Orhuvworun/Usiefrun community, Udu Local Government Area of the state.

The suspect has been on the run after allegedly commiting the crime.
 
Israel Joe wrote;

One Friday Billions has allegedly defiled a 6 years old girl in Orhuvworun/Usiefrun community of Udu Local Government Area of Delta state. The little girl started drying up after the incident and the alleged internet fraudster has been on the run since the incident occurred. Indecent Assault have been alleged instead of Defilement.

We wish to thank the DPO Ovwian/Aladja Divisional Headquarters for his firmness on this matter as we put the public on notice about this incident. The whereabout of the suspect is still unknown as his mother has allegedly boast of getting his son out of the hook.

INSECURITY: Osun monarch calls for death penalty for kidnappers

Oluwo of Iwo, Abdulrosheed Akanbi has suggested death penalty for those arrested for kidnapping and other crimes in the country. 
 
Speaking at a farmer-herder summit held in Iwo Local Government of Osun State on Tuesday May 18, the Osun monarch also charged herders in his local government to work hand in hand with him to ensure that criminals perpetrating abductions and killings in Iwo get arrested.
 
Akanbi said; 
 

"There must be the death penalty for kidnappers and no Human Rights advocate should kick against that. Government must begin to kill corrupt people irrespective of their ethnicity, be it Fulani Hausa, Yoruba or any tribe.
“If the security forces cannot enforce the law, then there would be anarchy, ritualists, corrupt people, kidnappers should be killed henceforth.
“I want you to work with me to identify criminals penetrating your ranks so that I would not join those who are calling for your expulsion in the Southwest.
“You would chase the criminals always by working with the chiefs, and security agencies. I still stand by my words that Fulani should come and stay in Iwo, but I don’t want criminals because we can’t identify with them."

 
Oba Akanbi also called for the recruitment of more policemen and community policing. He added; 
 

“Security challenges would be significantly solved if the government gives traditional rulers constitutional power. I also prefer devolution of power, not restructuring. Then we also need State Police.

Update: Missing 22-year-old lady found 12 days after she left home to visit boyfriend in Delta


Katherine Isaiah Fegor, has been found 12 days after she was declared missing in lsoko South Local Government Area of Delta State.



Katherine Isaiah Fegor reportedly left Oleh, where she worked as a distributor for KEDI Healthcare, to visit her boyfriend in Warri on Thursday, May 6. She was declared missing few days later as no one had heard from her after she left work.

A family member, Alexander Omena Abele, who confirmed the development on Tuesday afternoon, May 18, said she has been found.



"The Lord that keepeth Isreal neither sleeps nor slumber, God never fails me. She has been found" she wrote on Facebook.



One Ogbah Janet also confirmed that Fegor has returned home but shared no further details except a photo of the young woman sitting on the floor.
