A bit of Never Not Goth history as we gear up to say goodbye to our current venue the 🖤. Our events started out in a venue called the Jinx (it is also no longer around). We had a great run there before Covid shut down the whole world. Being the unkillable cockroach goths that we are we found a way to keep the music going. We had a live stream event that ran out of the . You may recognize some of those pinball machines. We’ve had a good run at the Lodge of Sorrows. Thank you all for making this another memorable era for Never Not Goth. We will miss the Lodge but we are looking forward to what the future will bring for us 🖤

As you may or may not know our beloved DIY venue space the Lodge of Sorrows will be closing on November 1st. Please join us October 12th for our final goth night in this space. We will be celebrating the end of this chapter with the Halloween edition of our monthly goth night. Costumes are highly encouraged!

We hate to do this but our event tonight is cancelled. Helene was unkind to a lot of us. Our venue has seen better days. We still don’t have much of a clear idea of when things will be up and running there. We made attempts to relocate the event but with the power being down in so much of the city it’s not a possibility at this point. We are so sorry to have to do this.
Please be very careful if you venture out. Loose tree limbs can still fall. Stay safe and be kind to each other 🖤

Our shop is okay, a bit leaky but okay! We can’t say the same for our venue. We are really holding on to hope that we can keep things going as planned with our event tomorrow but things are looking a bit grim right now. Hopefully we will have more information soon. We hope you are all safe and doing okay today! Stay tuned for an update on tomorrow’s event.
