Where there is chaos, we create opportunity! Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. gave his “I Have A Dream” speech on August 28, 1963 and nearly 57 years later we are still fighting to make MLK’s vision a reality. Carolina Black Media™ will amplify voices, through the full spectrum of media assets, of people that have been marginalized or even forgotten. Our talented storytellers will bring relevant information that you can trust to be authentic or sometimes even raw. Some contributors will do so anonymously. We understand that each person is taking great personal risk by taking a firm stand against apathy, hate, racism, and the many attitudinal diseases that plague our country. I will only speak for me here, my comfort or discomfort is inconsequential given the price paid by our ancestors through slavery, the civil rights movement, and the many unknown lives sacrificed for our freedoms.

We are on a meaningful journey and many things are “in process” because we felt it was more important to publicly take our first step and learn as we move forward. Carolina Black Media™ is on the RISE thanks to YOU!
