Congratulations to FAMU Journalism student Jonathan David for winning the Coca-Cola HBCU Sports Production Grant for his outstanding short documentary "Defy The Odds". He and his crew Tristian Hutton, Breche' DaValt and Aliya Chante' Everett were honored with the award during the prestigious 44th Sports Emmys in New York City.

On March 30th, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. FAMU TV20 is hosting its second Triple Strike Thursday event where students of FAMU's School of Journalism and Graphic Communication can speak directly to industry professionals.

In two days, the SJGC Lecture Hall will be standing room only because Hollywood mogul and American film producer Will Packer will speak (VIA ZOOM) to our students about the industry and his newest movie on Peacock called "Praise This" starring Chloe Bailey and Quavo.

At our first Triple Strike Thursday, SJGC alumna Jaclyn Harold joined us to teach the upcoming generation of students how to film a concise and engaging live report. 🎙 “It feels great to be back at my alma mater to talk to the next generation about what it’s like to do a report and become a multimedia journalist and an anchor,” Harold says.
