We had so much fun at yesterday’s rally in Foley Square! Thanks so much to the organizations that participated, including the Good Dog Foundation, NYC Parks & Rec, and NYC Emergency Management! We also got a special drop-in from Senator John Liu, whose dogged pursuits of justice are always welcome. Thanks again to everyone and see you on the campaign trail! (Just make sure you pick up after yourself.)

Yesterday NYC Dog Mayor Sally had the privilege of meeting NYC Human Mayor Eric Adams, along with the entire Women’s Caucus of the City Council! Special thanks to Councilmember Amanda Farias, who extended the invitation, and Chief Sergeant at Arms Rafael Perez, who gave Sally a guided tour of City Hall. (Sally isn’t aware of either of those things but her people made the appropriate arrangements.)

We are so happy, proud, and grateful with where this election and office have gone. We were also fortunate enough to speak with multiple City Council members on how this platform can be used to improve life for all New Yorkers, human and canines alike. Until then we’re happy just for Sally to have been in her element, which is bringing smiles to everyone she meets. Go Sally!

🚨MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT🚨

NYC Dog Mayor Sally and Deputy Dog Mayor Riley will appear at a live rally on Saturday, Oct. 28, from 1:30-3:30pm in Thomas Foley Square, one block from New York City Hall! We’ll hold a raffle for prizes, and will feature participation from multiple organizations and city agencies!

With so much horror and sadness in the world right now, this is our way of adding just a little bit of love and joy. Ours is a nonpartisan and nondiscriminatory endeavor, with dogs being our models for how to treat each other with kindness and love. With time, we hope our platform can help in making much-wanted and -needed changes, both to New York City and the world at large. Until then, see you at the rally!

A sitting NYC Dog Mayor wants to get things done, regardless of whether she’s sitting or standing. NYC Dog Mayor is no different! That’s why Sally was invited to NYC City Hall with her human and the Director of the NYC Dog Mayor elections, to meet with the NYC Mayor’s Office of Animal Welfare! They discussed all the initiatives Sally can undertake herself or help promote, including pet therapy for vulnerable populations, pet adoption, spaying & neutering, and more!

We’re so grateful to get to work with NYC government in seeing how we can make our city safer and kinder, and we can’t wait to see what kinds of progress we can make. We’re also excited having Dog Mayor Sally oversee everything, as she has already developed great standing in her political community, though preferably from a seated position.
