Good News is a blog post that is dedicated to the rawness of 2020. I have been absent from my blog and you learn why in this post. There's very little good news to share, but I'm here, breathing, and that's worth celebrating.

The only good news there is to share is that I’m here to tell the story.

Today is Day or Day. Y’all we gotta get out the vote! It is so important to make a plan because sometimes you think, “I’m just gonna show up November 3rd and do it!” But s**t happens, your momma gets sick, your car doesn’t start, or your polling place changes or you forget your photo ID, or you don’t get to the poll place in time. There are so many more scenarios out there. So you HAVE to make a plan.

Today is Day. Y’all we gotta get out the vote! It is so important to make a plan because s**t happens!

Thank you to Elaine Welteroth and Ruth Bader Ginsburg for inspiring, driving, and propelling future generations of women into expansion. The new manifesto: the power in expanding when the world tells you to shrink.

The definition of dissenter is "one who actively disagrees in opinion, and whom may fight for change".

"At the age of 16 five years ago today, I became one of those filthy homeless people. There are two things I’d like to share about my journey with homelessness that I hope allow people to expand their thoughts and dialogue on homelessness." https://www.humilityinpossibility.com/post/homelessness-five-years-later

The dirtiest word in the United States if often the word homeless. Homeless. Say it to yourself, homeless. How do you feel when you hear it?

"Why do I feel like you are forgetting the truth you taught to love unconditionally. Why haven't you said something? Have you looked out the window and seen the urgency of what is happening to a whole sector of humanity? You always taught me that human life is precious, and yet you can not bring yourself to say it."

I mean it, truly, that I love you more than anything and therefore I will call you out in love, because you have lost your way. Why do I feel like you are forgetting the truth you taught to love unconditionally. Why haven't you said something? Have you looked out the window and seen the urgency of w...

"I perch on a balance beam, carefully holding onto to hope, and not trying to fall into the pits of despair. I clutch to my rational mind and try to control the emotions that say otherwise. And I do everything I can to soak in the days where I feel warmth, and happiness because they are the days that point to hope."

Mini reflection on May 4th, 2020. Today was one of the best days I have had in quarantine. The loss I discussed in my last blog post has made everything harder. My efforts to remain positive take twice as much effort, and my energy and motivation to drive on in school and work become a burden and le...

Graduations, birthdays, academic events, baseball games, and so much more, gone. And the feeling of loss tends to overwhelm me often. Not knowing what to expect. Not knowing what to hope for. And not having my purpose outlined at the beginning of the day. It's a difficult time for me. But it has also been a time of growth.

It is such a sad feeling to think of the time that you can’t buy back during this time. But its has also been a time of growth.

"Do you ever stop and think to yourself, “I can not believe this is my life. How is this my life?” If you do not think this, then you may not be living life to the fullest or may need to take on a different perspective or remember where you came from and how far you’ve gotten. All of which I have done in the past couple of days."

Why do I write? Since I started college in 2017, I have found myself continually humbled by the unknown. I have found such a sense of fulfillment in my own life through the unknown and the opportunities that have been presented to me. I enjoy writing about my passions, what interests me, what interests other people, and sharing it with the world. With each passing day, Humility in Unknown Possibility gains more followers, and with that, even more, success. I hope this blog can serve you as a place to reflect and relate.

My Narrative

Why do I write? Since I started college in 2017, I have found myself continually humbled by the unknown. I enjoy writing about my passions, what interests me, what interests other people, and sharing it with the world. With each passing day, Humility in Unknown Possibility gains more followers, and with that, even more, success. I hope this blog can serve you as a place to reflect and relate.
