An InterCape Bus was shot and had stones thrown at it on the R61 road between Kwa40 and eNgcobo in the Eastern Cape.

It is not clear yet if there's been any people injured during the incident.

Such acts of shooting at and stoning InterCape Buses have been going for quite some time now.

On the 25th April 2022, a 35-year old father of two children, Bangikhaya Machana was shot at just after his shift at a depot in Cape Town. He was then rushed to hospital but passed on 3 days later on Thursday 28 April.

On the 6th May, as mourning family members were on a bus to his funeral at his home in Dutywa they were stopped by taxi operators who refused to let them proceed.

Thar incident prompted renewed calls for President Cyril Ramaphosa and the Ministers of Police and Transport, Fikile Mbalula to respond to the crisis engulfing the long-distance coach industry.
These calls fell on deaf ears as nothing has been done by both President Cyril Ramaphosa and Minister Fikile Mbalula to address this ongoing dilemma.

The taxi industry accuses InterCape of "stealing their passengers" due to the lower prices that the bus company charges. They have called on the bus company to increase its prices so that passengers don't gravitate towards the Buses and leave the taxis due to the cheaper prices.

The InterCape Buses in many parts of the Eastern Cape have had to resort to being es**rted by the police as many such incidents have occurred putting the lives of many passengers and drivers at risk.

On Friday the 27th May, taxi operators brought the small rural town of Dutywa to a standstill during a protest about this same issue. They blocked the town with trucks and no one could pass through the town for several hours during the protest.

Many people have criticised the government of dragging its feet in resolving this dilemma. They say that many more could be killed as the violence continues.

A Pensioner in Mahikeng got scammed R2.3m after being assured by Sangomas that her money would double in 4 days. The old lady transferred money into their accounts as investments. After four days, she tried calling them but they blocked her numbers. A case was opened and transfered to the Hawks. The scamners were later arrested with big bellies as a sign that they've been enjoying soft life.

Video: Black Mamba Captured: Tongaat - KZN

A female Black Mamba measuring approximately 2.4 meters was captured at a primary school in Tongaat - KZN yesterday afternoon (Sunday).

Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were called out to the school at approximately 12:57 after staff noticed the snake in a tree. Reaction Officers proceeded to the school and identified the snake as a Black Mamba. Specialist snake catcher Neville Wolmarans from Reptiles Unlimited was called out and on arrival captured the highly venomous snake.

The reptile will be released in its natural environment away from homes.

Mob Justice For Burglar: Amoutana - KZN

A burglar was tied to a tree and assaulted by the community after he was caught breaking into a home in Amoutana - KZN this morning (Sunday).

Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were called out to the scene at approximately 02:21. On arrival, a man was found tied to a tree and assaulted by the community. He was accused of breaking into a home while the owners were in church.

He was handed over to the South African Police.

Following the violence, a large number of Lesotho nationals are claimed to have gone home.

"After I lost everything, the Range Rover evoque was three months in arrears, I had to move the kids out of the mansion, the one with an Olympic size swimming pool,home cinema, gym and sauna 🥺 I felt like such a failure.

I had no income, I had to move. I found an advert on gumtree for a 3bed, 2 bath house in Esikhawini ekasi and the rent was advertised as R3,000 🙆🏽‍♀️ I jumped at the opportunity, but when I went to view the property was in such disrepair! The walls were dirty, the main door 🚪 had holes and no burglar bars 😰😭😭 but it was the only place I could rent for 12 months without worry.

The owner was a teacher who couldn't afford to pay bond anymore and was moving into her rural home in the outskirts of the township, she was a woman who had a newborn baby by a Ben10 who dissappeared 🥺 I felt so bad, I offered to pay 3.5K.

My helper cried the first day we went there to clean and so I spend 35K painting, inside and outside with quality paint, I put in burglar doors, I refinished the celinings and put cornices, and when I added my expensive furniture, the place looked like a haven, I didn't care that I was fixing someone's property, I wanted to live in beauty....

The bathrooms and kitchen were a nightmare, so small that my 30K fridge was located in then lounge 🤦🏾‍♀️ but the kids were troopers, we had food and a roof over our heads, no longer facing eviction 😰 and dodging the sheriff 🙆🏽‍♀️ I could breathe 😭😭

My downgrade from a 3.8M mansion to Ekasi gave me so much cashflow relief that I almost didn't feel broke anymore and I didn't have to constantly think of my lack of income... I relaxed and the energy changed....

In 12 weeks I recieved a call that restarted my life, it wouldn't have happened while I was still avoiding my reality, it took me moving from where I was to activate the universe in my favour...

I had nothing to hide 🤷🏾‍♀️ I felt no shame about my situation, Gugu Khwela brought me flowers from a show and we made a garden 😍 the house became the best on the street. My landlord suddenly wanted her house back 🙆🏽‍♀️ the fun we had with Nonku Gumede as I spoke my Stellenbosch english behind a locked gate explaining why the SAPS couldn't evict me on behalf of my landlord just because she wanted back 🙄😂

Did I mention that I had the whole house wired with an alarm system with dololo armed response 🤦🏾‍♀️.... Everyday I lived there I knew this one truth....

I was NOT poor, I was broke and there is a difference 🙌🏾 I walked like my stay was temporary, like I had diamonds growing in my backyard, I smiled like I had a secret with God.. The moment I accepted my situation and started living from truth, my life changed...

The more I became real, the more unreal life became.... Today I sip that cofee and know that NO situation has power over my mind. NONE

I am inimitable, from the fire 🔥 but unburnt, undefeated and still standing.... what a life! 🙌🏾 -
