I have always been a fan of Asian Skin care (Japanese and Korean),So I thought about sharing my thoughts and experience & journey with them from now on.
I will try to make a series of each type of skincare so that it becomes easy to find your favourite/required ones.
💬 Today I will be talking about my recent favourite Lotion/Serum- 𝐇𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐲𝐮𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐮𝐦 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐖𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐇)⤵️
The Hadalabo Shirojyun Premium Medicated Whitening Lotion (Rich) is a moisturizing toner(light version of it is more like a toner)or serum, designed to target and combat skin discoloration, sunspots, and uneven skin tone. It hails from Rohto Pharmaceutical Co.'s popular Hada Labo skincare line, a brand renowned for its simplistic, no-nonsense approach to skincare.
👩💻 Let's take a look of its major ingredients & their function-
𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙚𝙭𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙘 𝘼𝙘𝙞𝙙: This is the star ingredient. Known for its anti-inflammatory properties, it also works to slowdown the melanin production, which in turn helps to prevent and fade hyperpigmentation.
𝙃𝙮𝙖𝙡𝙪𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙘 𝘼𝙘𝙞𝙙: A staple in many Asian beauty products, hyaluronic acid is celebrated for its immense hydration capabilities. It can hold up to 1,000 times its weight in water, ensuring skin remains plump and hydrated.
𝙑𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙣 𝙀: An antioxidant that aids in skin's natural healing process and also provides moisture.
𝙑𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙣 𝘾: Another antioxidant, Vitamin C aids in the brightening of skin and supports the skin's natural regeneration process.

Though named "rich" & called a "Lotion", the texture is surprisingly light and watery, making it easy to apply and ensuring quick absorption. For best results, it's advised to pat the product gently into the damp skin after cleansing, and before applying other serum or moisturizer.

The lotion is suitable for hyperpigmentation, uneven skin tone, or general dullness. Almost people of all skin type can use it if they are looking for brightening & hydration together. But Generally, The light version is advised for Oily skin types. People of Normal,Combination & Dry skin type can go for the richer version.
also PATCH TEST is a MUST for any skincare product. 🆘

I have a combination to oily skin (not acne prone) & My face sweats a lot while there's a good amount of sebum secretion on my T-Zone :”( . I have started using the rich version of it for a while now and it suits me really well. I also use a Ceramide cream as a moisturizer after applying it. I use it on my damp skin usually. It gives a nice glow after I wake up in the morning and my skin feels really plumped & hydrated. There is no visible Brightening on my skin yet, (as my skin tone is on brighter side). But my hyperpigmentation is fading, though slowly, but it is happening. Waiting for more changes now!
