I attended a training organized by Yamaha Motor Pakistan through Yamaha Riding Academy (YRA).

The training included use of safety gear, safe braking techniques, period motorcycle maintenance and correct riding posture.

The Kabah, first built on Earth by Prophet Adam AS, who brought with himself a white stone and placed it in the corner. The stone later turned black over time due to the sins of the humans.

This structure was completely lost until the time of Prophet Ibrahim AS when they rebuilt the structure at the same location, guided by Angel Jibrael. The black stone was brought again to them by the angel to place it in the corner.

Due to natural reasons, the building got damaged several time and residents of Makkah and later on Muslim governments made preservation and renovation efforts.

Ever found a paradise on Earth?

We did!

In my imaginations, the image of paradise I had in my mind was something like this but surely, the road to paradise was really difficult. It was a mere 30 KM but one of the most difficult path I ever rode on and it took around 3 hours for us to cover this track.

Now that this place exists on earth I wonder how beautiful paradise would be!

How do you get to the top of a mountain when your motorcycle just doesn't move? It's simple, the universe conspirers and helps you out a bit ;)

On top of Pamir Hills, was the gorgeous Borith lake. The route to this lake was a narrow off-road track with some steep curves. We tried and tried and tried, but could not get our bike to ascend this route. It kept backtracking.

Retreat was not an option, so Maham got off of the bike and started walking uphill. Without the pillion, the motorcycle ascended but I was concerned for how will she walk all the way up to the hill- just then a kind local family came to her and offered her a lift to the lake in their car. She hopped in and I laughed at how serendipitous it was for us.

On foot, in someone's else's car, after pushing our motorcycle and practically begging it to move...we FINALLY got to this crystal, reflective lake

How perspectives change with proximity!

The glacier appears massive, even from the road but we wanted to see it closely. We went on the path towards Borith Lake. It took us 30 mins on a totally off-road track and afterwards a 15 min trek to see the glacier this closely.

I wish to do the 2 day trekking adventure to Passu Glacier itself one day!

Simply, dream come true!

I was preparing for this moment since past two years. Getting myself ready and my motorcycle ready to ride till this point. I wanted to tap my shoulder for accomplishing this feat. The amount of happiness I was experiencing was so much that I kept laughing to myself till I was ready for a decent picture 😂

Tucked away in a quiet little valley, embraced by the mountains of Passu, the faintest glimmer of sunshine touches your face, you open your eyes and they fall on lush cherry orchards for as far as the eye can see. You unzip your camp and step out, leaves crunch beneath your feet as you inhale a waft of pure air. You walk to the trees and pluck the plumpest, freshes and most tempting looking berries you have ever seen, you take the first bite and experience life like never before, tucked away in Passu.
