Thanatos Sonata will OFFICIALLY be screened at Sydney Film School Festival, United Cinemas at Opera Quays! And there would be no Thanatos Sonata without the crew. Can't thank you guys enough for an amazing experience shooting this film together.

Also, special thanks to Matthew Shepherd, Yasmen Odisho, Emmanuel Drakakis, Alexander Gordon for all your help with SFX, Catering, and Green Screens Supply!

Would love to work with all of you again on future projects 🤞 Maybe a Vietnamese film in 5 years' time? Let's hope!

It is submitted!

Thanatos Sonata is coming to Sydney Film School Graduate Festival at the end of June! And hopefully to more festivals soon around the world! 🎬🎬🎬

Fun fact: In Greek mythology, Thanatos was the personification of death. He was a minor figure in Greek mythology, often referred to but rarely appearing in person.

According to Sigmund Freud, humans have a life instinct—which he named "Eros"—and a death drive, which is commonly called (though not by Freud himself) "Thanatos". This postulated death drive allegedly compels humans to engage in risky and self-destructive acts that could lead to their own death. Behaviors such as thrill-seeking and aggression are viewed as actions that stem from this Thanatos instinct.
