The entire watershed is larger than most folks realize. Draining most of NH including a large part of the lakes region, and a large part of eastern Mass with tributaries like the Concord, Nashua and Shawsheen Rivers. Its reaches, pass through or supplies water to major cities like, Plymouth, Franklin, Concord, Manchester, Nashua, Lowell, Lawrence and Haverhill as well as dozens of towns along the way. Flooding, runoff, pollution, erosion habitats, recreation, public water supply demands. There is allot more going on in your drinking water than you realize. Some of it’s good, much of it needs improvement. We aim to provide a confluence of information regarding recreation, restoration, public health and developments along the drainage. From Ethan Pond to Plumb Island, if you have a story, know of a local project or plight, please share.
