When creating a reels strategy we like to make sure we have a variety of types of reels. The categories we use to divide them up is Trendy, Promotional, and Evergreen content.

Branded content: What you need to know!

TikTok recently conducted many brand lift studies in partnership with IPSOS to get more insight into branded content elements that are driving the best response.

Here’s what they found: ↓

When doing branded content, the best formula is using brand-led and creator-led content together.
For maximum impact they found that having a real person on camera using the product and talking about the product with some music over the video drove up the ad recall far more than if there were no music and visuals only.

Another tip - don’t leave branding until the end of the video! Using 3-5 brand cues can result in 14% more brand linkage versus when less than 3 or more than 5 brand cues are used.

That’s right Instagram is updating…AGAIN!

Here’s what you need to know about the different feeds:

Home: Home is the experience users know today. # The app ranks content based on how interested it thinks you are.

Favorites: It’s a list of accounts that you want to make sure you don’t miss things from. Think of this as a feed to see what your siblings are doing, your favorite creators, and your best friends.

Following: Just like the old Instagram, you’ll see posts from all your followers in chronological order.
